The spacious treatment area provides ample space for treating and observing our hospitalized patients in ICU. Our luxury suites offer private lodging with an outdoor run and a "doggy door", an automatic watering dish for fresh water, and comfortable, clean bedding. The Lodge at Wellington features a range of lodging accommodations including individual luxury suites, private runs or smaller cages depending on your needs.
Several outdoor exercise runs are available where your dog can play alone or with other dogs, weather permitting. We have grown into a multi-doctor practice with medically skilled staff members including registered technicians.

We have been serving the Wellington area since 1989 when our founder, Dr. William Spreng opened the Wellington Veterinary Clinic as an ambulatory practice servicing primarily farm animals. The small animal clinic was opened in 1994 at our current location and our expansion was added in 2007 offering a new reception area, examination rooms, treatment areas, and our separate luxury lodging and professional grooming salon.
Wellness Care — Annual wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutritional counseling, new puppy and kitten Wellness Programs, Senior Care Program and weight loss program. Medical Services — Laboratory and diagnostic testing, digital radiography, dental intraoral radiographs, ultrasound, endoscopy, PennHip Evaluation, Photon therapy, intensive care, and isolation ward.

In order to provide the best quality of service, we operate by appointment during regular business hours. This allows us to schedule ample time for all our patients and for our surgical and medical procedures. Occasionally, emergencies arrive that will receive top priority. We strive to see our clients and patients on time, but there may be times when an appointment could be delayed.
Dr. William A. Spreng is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is the clinic's founder and President. In addition, Dr. Spreng has special interest in dairy herd management and is specially trained in dairy nutrition. Dr. Imre L. Orosz is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Vet- erinary Medicine.

Earlier this week I had to bring in my sweet kitty who had been lost & recently found. She was very sick but we had thought she might be able to pull through. They gave her the best fighting chance they could &… did everything they could have to help. When it was evident she would not make it, the decision was made to put her down. All of the staff- front desk, vet techs, & the doctor were so kind & loving to my kitty during her stay. They were also very kind to me & truly made this awful incident as smooth & easy as possible. I highly recommend Wellington Vet Clinic

With the recent passing of our oldest cat Minksy, the staff at Wellington Vet were phenomenal. We were treated with utmost respect and compassion as our kitty passed over that Rainbow Bridge. The facility was quiet and comfortable as we were given ample time to grieve. Thank you to the staff and doctor for being so kind and understanding! Mark and Valerie Avery

Our dog was just vaccinated for rabies, she did NOT require the vaccination for another two years .
I was informed it was human error and we would not be charged for the un needed shot ! No joke ..... why would you pay for an error ?
Human error from the tech, and human error from the administering doctor who should have checked, before just… assuming
Called and talked to the office and got labeled “ combative “ Then was informed test results were withheld because the staff was in fear of the reaction and left the task to the office manager
Over all very disappointing experience

Dr. Bill did a farm visit for us today and we can’t say enough nice things about him! He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, as we are relatively new to sheep and goat ownership. He spent time with our animals, giving us information and answering all our questions before checking our barn and pasture for any issues. We highly recommend and look forward to his next visit!
