Dr. Laura Castillo Kaler received her B.S. in Microbiology at the University of Maryland, College Park (1979) and her dental degree at the University of Maryland Dental School, Baltimore (1983). She served as a practicing dentist in the U.S. Public Health Service in Dallas, Texas from 1983-1987 The clinic she was assigned to served mainly a pediatric population.
While in the Public Health Service, she had dental research published in several international journals. Dr. Kaler and her husband Price live in Jefferson where they have been involved with family, church and community activities. Their family owns and operates the Little Red Barn. Dr. Ramya Bhagavan studied at Bangalore University, India.
