Dr. Chai joined Middletown Valley Dentistry in 2016 and really loves working with this community. Dr. Chai was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD. He received his undergraduate degrees in Microbiology and Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. He then worked as a Financial Analyst for 3 years at Lockheed Martin before changing careers.
Dr. Myrissa Carter is a general dentist who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, along with implantology and oral surgery. She is dedicated to providing patients with her best care. Dr. Carter knew early in her life that she wanted to be a dentist. After receiving her undergraduate degree in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, she went on to attend the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry.

These people won't schedule my appointment because the lady doesn't like how I spoke to her, I'm coughing up blood and just got out of the er with a root from my wisdom tooth causing an abscess. I'm coughing mass blood and the lady hung up on me and refuses to schedule my appointment because she doesn't like that one freaking out because I'm coughing blood and just came from the emergency room. If they don't schedule my appointment it's illegal and I will be suing along with making sure that the lady gets fired. I'm having a medical regency coughing blood

Being relatively new to the area, we were relieved to find this dental office. Everyone is extremely professional, kind, thoughtful and efficient. They also know exactly how our insurance works. So glad to have found this practice over 25 years ago! I have always been greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. The dentists and hygienists take their time and monitor for any discomfort during procedures. I don’t have a high tolerance for pain but I can’t remember ever having a problem with any procedure - from fillings to root canals to crowns. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist ☺️

These guys are seriously the best! I felt virtually no discomfort with my first root canal. Chelsea was very reassuring and informative, which was very helpful because I was nervous!! She and Dr. Dan explained everything and prepared me with what to expect. They were both very attentive, ensuring I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Dan did a masterful job and will now be my go-to for any dental needs! Thank you Middletown Valley!! You guys rock!!

Like anyone I am not fond of the dentist. however they were able to get me in for an appointment as quickly as my schedule and their schedule would allow it. I had to have a root canal done to one of my teeth with the cap on it. They were really concern on if I was in any type of pain. The staff was very friendly and informative.
Update: Since my root canal in September, I have visited multiple times. I am still very happy with going to see them and everything that I mentioned in my previous post is still accurate. I am currently halfway through my treatment plan for my teeth. They will work with

The atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is always friendly, smiling and greets me by name when I arrive. The hygienists all take their time to do the job right while at the same time making you feel as comfortable as possible during their process. Dr. Dan is knowledgeable and caring in his demeanor. They never "sell" other unnecessary procedures like other places I have been over the years. I will never go to any other dentist while living even remotely close to Middletown. I strongly recommend Middletown Valley Dentistry.

How often do you hear that going to a Dentist's office is enjoyable? Well, it's not that I want to spend vacation there, but because I want good dental care in an environment that is friendly, personable, and professional. I recently had my first dental visit at Middletown Valley Dentistry. I can't say enough about their level of professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated during my appointment. Both Dr. Chai and Kerri worked very efficiently to reduce my number of visits and were very good at explaining the recommended treatment plan as well as ensuring my comfort. I would highly recommend this dental practice.
