A thorough home inspection is the most important way to protect the investment you have in your home. We use latest codes and equipment to inspect all properties. Our highly educated Inspectors/Engineers will explain the home inspection process in understandable terms. There are many technical and complicated portions of a thorough inspection.
The foundation is the most important item of the house and yet poorly inspected by many inspectors. The foundation keeps the integrity of the house together. Starting with general construction of the foundation and depending on type of foundation, we check for slab exposure, the distance of trees and shrubs relative to structural elements such as the roof line.
We will observe that the mast, drop, and weather head are securely fastened for overhead power supply. All accessible main and subpanels will be opened and inspected for installation condition, location, covers, filled knock-outs, burnt insulation & overheating, type of wiring, wiring conditions and improper and unsafe wiring.
We will identify the type of heating system and its energy sources. The system will be operated and checked for its overall condition. Condition of burner and its components, any scale build-up as well as vent type, condition, draft, termination, and proximity to combustibles is observed. Flame, gas branch line materials and connections, and gas shut-off valve will be checked for presence, location, and leaks.
We will inspect the type, condition, installation, operation and presence of back-flow/anti-siphon devices of accessible and visible fixtures. We will check for mis-match of piping materials which could cause havoc. All visible water supply, waste water, and vent pipes are observed for type, condition, routing, and functionability.

I would like to share my experience with Foresight Engineering & Inspections, LLC. and Mr. Jitendra (VICTOR) M. Varma. I retained Victor to meticulously review my construction plans and specifications to determine if my Builder deviated from them without appropriate authorization.

I spoke with Mr. Varma on phone prior to the inspection of our foundation. He was very attentive and understood my concerns. Mr. Varma arrived on time and performed a thorough foundation inspection based on what he had access to. After the inspection, he gave us a detailed summary of what was causing our foundation problem and offered recommendations for foundation repair. He emailed us the investigative report within 48 hours and was available for follow up questions and concerns.
