John Utz has been practicing physical therapy for 21 years. His passion is helping his clients understand WHY they are in pain, not just what is hurt. John established U.T.Z. PT in 2007 in order to continue providing physical therapy the right way. Providing clinical autonomy for clinicians to schedule the time necessary to best manage and treat patients.

We are contracted ALL insurance companies (except AHCCS). We would be happy to verify your physical therapy coverage benefits for you including co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance amounts, if any. We offer several different payment methods for our physical therapy services including insurance reimbursement, credit card payment (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card) and of course, cash and check.

I went to this facility for PT after total right knee replacement. I had been going to another large hospital PT clinic with dismal results. John and his staff were professional, well trained, direct, and got me to my goal of a 120 degree bend.
I would recommended this facility to anyone. Their level of experience and commitment to achieving my goals was at the top.

If your looking for a physical therapy place, look no further! Everyone here is so nice. Michelle the receptionist is so good at her job and makes it easy for me to make appointments. John the owner called me himself to discuss my concerns when I was first looking for a PT but was unsure about going in person due to the pandemic. And then there's Ashley, the best PT I've ever had. She is knowledgeable and kind and fun. I always look forward to going in for my appointments! I see a huge difference in my back pain since I've started going here.

I have experienced ongoing issues with leg pain and have tried different approaches with physical therapists over a number of years. I followed the exercises suggested but despite being excellent exercises they were not specific to my issue. I am pleased to say John, the owner suggested a few exercises that appear to have made and continue to improve my situation. He did not hand me sheets of worthwhile exercises, but suggested three which he felt were specific to my leg weakness. Once he felt he had given me the tools to improve he said I was finished with PT sessions. I respect that he

John Utz is truly the ultimate physical therapist. After speaking to him on the phone he was willing to take on the challenge of treating our non speaking autistic daughter. She was unable to walk without pain, she was having some severe back issues. Mr. Utz was able to assess the issue and treated her. She is not having pain and is able to walk. The only good thing the physician did for her was put us in contact with Mr. Utz. You will not find a better physical therapist anywhere. We are thankful that we came in contact with him.

I went to Ultimate Treatment Zone for treatment of an excruciating case of plantar fasciitis. John Utz thoroughly examined my issue and explained a therapy plan. Using a combination of deep tissue massage in the effected area, ultra sound and laser therapy I felt relief in the first week and I was back to my regular long walks, golfing and work outs in a month. John made certain to set bench marks and create progress reports to measure the effectiveness of each technique.
