The passing of someone you so dearly love is a heart and gut-wrenching experience and just to overwhelm you some more, there are the “details” to deal with. I know from the past when I was intimately involved in a funeral plan, that week just drained me dry.
This was night and day! I am so grateful to Urban Funeral Home: Skip, Dolores, Monica for their magnificent coordination with the family and the incredible staff and Pastor at St Anthony of Padua in Ambler.

Recently my friend passed away. Since she had no surviving family she prearranged her funeral services with the Urban Funeral Home. Since I was her friend the Urban family included my husband and and me in the planning. They carried out her wishes exactly as she had requested. They were anxious to be transparent in all planning and even took care of the inscription on the headstone. We were really impressed with their empathy, professionalism and efficiency. We would definitely recommend this Funeral Home.

Every detail was perfect down to a corsage with a single green orchard. You made us feel like family. Mom always trusted your family focused business. As long as I can remember urban funeral home has serviced our family. I recently lost my mother and of course went to urban all I can say is our family hit extremely hard time and they treated us with nothing but kindness and for that I can't thank them enough. When u loose a loved one that can be the hardest time in your life. And I wouldn't recommend anyone go anywhere else but urban. Thank u for your services

A funeral home isn't where you want to be and it's not the place you wish for a family reunion. I really have to say that Urban Funeral Home does a wonderful job in regard to their craft. Very professional and it's a beautiful place. My aunt recently passed and they treated her with the utmost respect that she deserved. If you're in need of service these are the folks to consult with.
