If you would like to plan in advance, we can come to you or you can come to us. Whichever way makes things more comfortable for you. We will sit down with you and go over your wishes. There are two facets of the design process. First, we ask you to consider how you wish to honor and celebrate the life.
All too often, families discount the value of ceremony after the death of a loved one, and we certainly don't want you to make that mistake. Coming together after a loss is a very essential part of the grieving process. In the depth of early grief, you might think that it would be 'easier' to just take care of things as simply - and as quickly -as possible.
Too often, we have had families come in to take care of the final arrangements for their loved one and tell us "They were a Vet, the VA takes care of everything." Sadly, that is not the case and many of our Veterans in Loma Linda are under the wrong impression. Burial in a National Cemetery is covered, but unfortunately mortuary expenses are not covered by the Veterans Administration unless the death was service related.

I wanted to thank everyone from Sunset for all the care and love they showed for my brother’s services. From the second they came to take my brothers body from the home I felt the love. I knew Sunset was family owned because they showed emotion and so grateful I chose them. During the most difficult times in our lives, Sunset was very sympathetic and there for us. Jenny was able to find a Spanish priest for the rosary and burial site service. They were able to provide tables and table cloths and floral stands when needed. They went above and beyond. They knew what things we would forget and have

I live in Arkansas. My son died in Costa Mesa in late 2017. Tony and Jenny at Sunset Funeral Care took care of everything. They were extremely sensitive and compassionate during a very difficult time for our family. They gave excellent service at a very reasonable price and were a pleasure to work with. When I die, I hope my funeral care is done as well as what they did with my son's death. I recommend them without any hesitations at all.

I want to thank the staff of Sunset Funeral Care in Redlands, Ca and staff of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church for all the help and superior coordination of the Funeral for my Mom. The visitation, Mass and burial exceed all of our expectations 100 fold. The personal attention to every detail was just amazing. I can’t say enough about how up lifting every part of services made me and my Family feel. A simple “Thank You” seems so inadequate.

Sunset memorial I HIGHLY recommend. When my dad passed away we used another facility and I felt like I was purchasing a home. No compassion, rude, and they all had their calculators out. We were able to use Sunset to purchase my dad's headstone and they did a marvelous job. They also have reasonable prices. Thank you Tony and Jenny.

I recommend Sunset Funeral Care. I was treated with the highest respect and dignity regarding arrangements for my mothers cremation with each interaction at Sunset. I do not live in California, but Jenny made the process simple and I was able to sign documents electronically. Jenny was extremely professional and compassionate during this arduous time. She kept me informed and communicated to me regularly regarding the process and my mothers remains so that I did not have extra stress and grief. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
