A few simple maintenance steps, however, will help protect your investment and keep your Shaw Hardwood flooring looking like new.
Laminate Flooring is naturally durable; learn how to keep it looking great while standing up to the toughest household conditions. Use a damp cloth to blot up spills as soon as they happen. Never allow liquids to stand on your floor. For tough spots, such as oil, paint, markers, lipstick, ink, or tar, use acetone/nail polish remover on a clean white cloth, then wipe the area with a damp cloth to remove any remaining residue.
Proper maintenance is the key to a trouble-free tile & stone floor. Wipe down your ceramic floor with a damp mop at least once a week (or more often for heavy traffic areas) with a Hard Surfaces Flooring Cleaner. A mixture of 1 cup of white vinegar to 2 gallons of clean tap water can be used. Never use a detergent or soap, because it can dull the surface or promote the growth of mildew.
