Medical Center Pharmacy was established in 1924, at the time was doing business as Galloway Pharmacy. Growing and changing at a dramatic pace, Medical Center Pharmacy is now the largest, oldest and most experienced independent pharmacy chain in San Diego County. Medical Center Pharmacy (MCP) is a retail, specialty and medical equipment group of local pharmacies, family owned and operated in San Diego County for nearly 100 years. Our family of pharmacies includes Galloway Pharmacy (National Ave), Park Blvd Pharmacy (Hillcrest), Community Medical Pharmacy (Gateway Center), as well as two locations in Chula Vista.
As a long-term care pharmacy (LTCP), we provide medications and consultant pharmacy services to long-term care facilities such as nursing homes. As a LTCP, we provide continuous access to a pharmacist as well as offer emergency delivery of medication. Our main focus is to ensure that patients have access to their medication therapies in a timely manner.
