Either call the clinic or schedule your initial appointment online. Allow 1-1/2 - 2 hours for your first appointment. Wear loose and comfortable clothing.
We are members of the HealthPartners and Cigna networks. Not all plans cover acupuncture, so please check with us before your visit. If you are using another insurance network, we can provide you with an itemized invoice of your appointment for you to submit to your provider for reimbursement. If you are with HealthPartners or Cigna, you are welcome to give us a call with your member ID and date of birth so we can check your plan.

I scheduled an appointment on the website and provided all of my private details and insurance information. On the day of my appointment, the doctor said she didn't know about my appointment. She didn't seem able to check their website and she had no idea how to verify my insurance herself. She told me I would have to wait until someone was in the office to do this. I drove from South Minneapolis to their office on Grand Ave in Saint Paul for nothing. So unprofessional! Fortunately, there's a reliable Chinese medicine provider right around the corner from this place and they accept any Health Partners

I have known this place for years about 10 years ago I hurt my back playing basketball. My wife suggested I meet her there for treatment. I was skeptical of accupunnture but tried it.. I went in not being able to stand. When I left I could do a jumping Jack...it. was like Mr miaygi hit me with something. Recently my mother in law came to town after just having mini stokes. She lost her memory of the last 10 years. After a few treatments she regained her memory for the most part. I was very excited to get acupuncture to help me quit smoking. This place seemed good so I called and asked how much a session would cost. The woman on the phone told be it would be $85. After my session the person behind the counter told me I owed them $185. I said I was confused because I was told it was $85 and they said the consultation fee is $100. Fine. But at least tell me that then, instead of misleading me to think something is within my budget when its not. Plus she wanted to see my 2x a week with no sliding fee scale option available...who can afford that? She also gave me some sort

Very disappointed in my overall experience here, definitely will not be back. Was initially drawn to the ease of scheduling online, location convenience and what seemed like straightforward pricing info on website.
My appointment was scheduled for 10:15am. I called as my gps took me close but not exactly to the spot so I arrived about 10:18. I was not seen by the Dr. until almost 11am and she entered the room without explanation or apology for the delay. Dr Ren visited my 95-yr old mother at her assistant living apartment. My mother had a stroke last spring and she cannot walk and has been advised not to try to transfer herself without calling an aide to assist her. So she has a call button that she wears around her neck. She said the treatment was very good, but Dr Ren had to leave for another appointment and left my mother naked on the massage table without even giving her back her call button or trying to find someone to help her.
