I came here two years ago and the food was affordable and great. I’m not sure what changed, but I came again this week, and the food was horrible and the prices very high. The food was extremely bland, and the Spanish rice was terrible. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, as I am sure that many of the good ones are from when this place used to be great and affordable. Literally any restaurant in town is better than this.

Found Serrano's on my way home from Branson to KC. This is probably the best Mexican food I've had since moving to MO from Los Angeles, where there is no shortage of great options. Food is as authentic as it gets, and all recipes are of the family that owns it. Very reminiscent of the cooking of that I used to enjoy by my Guadalajara born mother-in-law. The Father does the cooking from what I could tell, while mom and teen son take care of the guests, at least on the day I was there. Great family restaurant, good food, excellent staff and the huevos ranchero and chorizo con huevos and cheesy bacon fries are the best! Large portions you definitely won't leave unhappy or hungry. Very reasonably priced. One of my favorite little restaurants, it really is! 👍👍
