The Lady that fixed my hair was so kind. I'm in a wheelchair and she worked around my chair. The door is a little heavy, but inside is wheelchair friendly. This is my go to salon!

My stylist was very nice and friendly and I liked her, but she seemed inexperienced and didn't give me what I asked for. Hardly anything was done and it took so long, with so many questions, that I just said it was fine. I paid way too much for so little done. Over a hundred bucks for slightly lighter hair and a trim... I might visit once more but I'll be asking for someone more experienced.

I had an amazing experience at Plum today. I have very fine, thin and fragile hair that has never had any process done to it before. I really like the way the sun highlights it in the summer time, so I showed her a picture of it and asked her if she could do something similar to that. She was amazing; she listened, was attentive and very understanding of my worries of damaging my hair during this process. So we decided on doing a combination of foils and freehand painting. I was so excited to go and get my hair colored for the first time in about 5 years! I have naturally dark blonde hair and for the summer wanted to go a warm blonde color all over. My stylist had told me the pros and cons of each technique and I had chosen the one I thought suited my situation the best. After agreeing to a balayage that was going to be warm blonde I was so happy to see the final result. Great spot to get a haircut! My cousin is a hair stylist so she usually does my hair but when I moved to Bellingham it became way less convenient for me to see her. I was nervous coming to Plum because my hair is sacred to me and few people are worthy of cutting it. Turns out I worried for nothing because Evie did a fantastic job with my long hair! I have been going to Tori for a couple of years now. I bring a picture, she does exactly the like the picture whether it's a color change or a haircut. Love this salon. Always clean, good hairdressers. I trust Tori with my hair :). Would recommend this place to anyone that needs a haircut or color. The people here know what they are doing!!!

Fun fun fun... thought I was in desperate need for a color cut and change up. My regular salon stylist was on vacay. So glad I switched it up and used Layla at Plums. I was very happy with her Aesthetics. Her chair was very comfy. I've had better shampoos. She is definitely my new go-to hair person. I like the vibe of the place- Young. I have been going to Glenda, one of the owners, since 2006, and have truly never left the salon with less than gorgeous hair. The salon is always clean, smells amazing and feels inviting. I am always greeted promptly, even if my stylist is busy with another client. Oh, and that's not even saying what a perfect job she does, every single time. I was just walking around downtown looking for a place to get a haircut when I came across Plum. Sara had an opening and I only had to wait 10 minutes. She gave a great consultation and didn't start until she fully understood what I was looking for and didn't let me leave until I was happy. I definitely recommend her, and for only $35!

I have gone to Plum several times and receive nothing but great haircuts.

HOWEVER, their customer service SUCKS. I have to tried to call multiple times to get someone on the phone and when I try and set up an appointment it seems as if "everyone is booked." This may be true, but answer the dang phone! I shouldn't have to call 7 times to set up a haircut.

I was new to town this spring and searching for a Bumble & Bumble salon. The first salon I found wasn't a good fit, but I love this one. Sara is a great stylist and her prices are reasonable. My hair is somewhat challenging and I find she aways asks for input, listens carefully, and makes suggestions too. In addition, she's a warm and lovely person. I referred her to a friend who also loved the cut she got.

Aesthetically, I appreciate the nicely decorated, roomy, downtown location with lots of natural light through the front windows.

I have been getting my hair done by Glenda, the owner, since 2006. She is awesome! She asks me what I want to do with my hair and I ask her to make me look pretty. And she never fails to impress me. I leave the salon feeling fresh and beautiful every time. All the stylists are very professional and the decor is simple and classy. My husband goes to Leslie. She does a wonderful job as well.

Glenda & her experienced Bumble & Bumble team rock! My friends & I call her "Glenda the Good Hair Witch" because she's amazing. Her color is right on every time, and she listens before she cuts, but isn't afraid to make suggestions. Love this salon!
