Fantastic experience dealing with everyone from the front desk, to the graphic design team, to the production team. I sent out a request to 5 companies and this was the only one that was responsive. Stay away from this place if you value your money. I paid almost 4 times what I should have been charged for vinyl lettering, I feel so riped off. I came here because it was "local" but regret not having looked at different places for better quotes.The main guy here is always giving bad attitude when you call to inquire about your order, he acts like he is annoyed at ever question you have. This was my first time doing vinyl lettering so I didn't know what to expect. If you really want any signs or banners or vinyl lettering go to SIGN KING also local and with way better customer service and amazing

Generally I would prefer to just write off a bad experience. But given that I have done business with them previously and the complete waste of time, this review is more than warranted.
The first time I started using "Sign Diego" was more than 15 years ago. I used their services to create decals that I needed in my office and the work they produced at that time was exceptional and while I don't remember the prices, I will assume they were reasonable. Of note, everything positive about my experience with this company is past-tense. Again, this was more than 15 years ago.

The company I work for is participating as an exhibitor for a "Super Hero" themed trade-show. This is a very large event to participate in and the only way to get noticed, acknowledgement is to fully participate. So as the active member and organizer for our company I've planned a Gotham City theme for us. Ron Marcotte -Owner and his team new exactly what we were visioning! We recently utilized Sign Diego to print several signs for ongoing client events, so we needed something durable since it would be shipped all over the country throughout the year. Al was great to work with. All I did was send him a photo of what we were looking for, and the rest was taken care of. He even made a great suggestion to use a new material to make the signs even more durable than our old ones. The finished product turned out fantastic and everyone who has seen the new signs has commented on how great they look. Thanks Sign Diego!

Anyway, this is my experience. Contacted numerous companies for a sign quote. For some reason it's hard to get these sign companies to give you the time of day. Maybe they are busy? hmmm perhaps I should get into the sign business lol. I contact this company via an online quote on their website. They contact me the following day (ok good). I speak to one of the employees and we set a time and date for someone to come out, take measurements, pictures etc

Had them build the sign for our new location in Liberty Station. The entire process was pretty smooth. I sent a photo of our logo and the dimensions to Ron. He came back with a quote for us to do the permitting and for him to do it. At first I wanted to take care of it to save some money, but eventually I ran out of time. Had Sign Diego take care of it. What a stress reliever!! They took a while building the sign as expect as ours was pretty complicated. The contractors put it up in front of the store on the day they said they would. Went to them for a quote for a banner and a small poster. Had used this org before - some years ago - then the service was wonderful, the prices were reasonable, and I left a happy customer.
THIS time however - I asked for a quote, they took their sweet time about giving me one - 2+ days, and the price was astronomical. I had five other quotes come in well under the one they gave me. So the market has spoken - I voted with my dollars and went elsewhere where I got a timely quote, a fair price and nice quality work.
Save yourself the time and trouble - there are plenty of other quality local

Went in there not concerned with the price really. I needed a banner for my aunts 70th b-day. Gentlemen behind the counter seemed like the quality of the banner and expense was not worth my time. And then when I talked him into making one for me he pretty much refused to fit my order in his schedule to be done by when I needed it. Left very disappointed and ended up getting lame banners @ party city.

I was having a hard time finding a company who would do my project. After emailing 4 places, some who didn't even get back to me, Sign Diego sent a complete estimate of the project. It included a complete description, layout, price, turnaround time. . . they answered all my questions before I even asked! Now that's great customer service. It only got better from there. They had my project done sooner than the estimated time and gave me instructions for installation. Sign Diego was very professional and I will do business with them again.

After five years of me being in business I finally decided to get a magnetic sign for my car. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products and sizing of what would look good on my car. They emailed me four different designs for me to choose from the next day. The signs were ready promptly, too.
Here is the best part. After a week of me having the signs one was stolen. I called Ron, the owner of Sign Diego, and he replaced the stolen sign for NO cost!!! I was not expecting that, but was sooooo appreciative. A large sign company would not have cared that one person lost a sign
