I started seeing Heather over 10 years ago when I was in graduate school while working full-time and having bouts of stress that were temporary but nearly paralyzing. I have had digestive issues my whole life. My stomach ailments begin to seep into other parts of my life and health. I eventually reached a breaking point and reached out to Heather Bird after hearing about her from a mutual friend. She could not have come at a better time.

I started working with Heather Bird in 2008, and was a devoted client of hers until she took time off to make a beautiful family. She helped me immensely with my liver issues, effectively holding them to near zero levels which I maintained during her absence with the herb regimen she prescribed. I try to get some sort of restorative work done on my old body at least once a month. I'm not a competitive athlete by any means but, I've always been active and aches/pains/injuries are part of life. Within acupuncture is an amazing clinic. They offer an array of treatments, and "healthy happy hour" where you can pop in for a discounted mini treatment. It's very convenient to go to after work, locates right near Montgomery station. Heather Bird is an incredible practitioner. Her innate ability to truly listen, observe minute details, and integrate it all into a wholesome approach moving forward is worth seeking her out. I own a restaurant in Downtown SF, and her new location is so convenient for me to hit up before work... or after.
Heather is very professional, very caring, and listens to all my needs. She seems to know how to hit every hot spot on my body. Be it back pain, soreness, worry or tension, she really has me leaving every appointment lighter and relieved.

This is a new business but I have been seeing Heather Bird for over a year and she is wonderful! I thought I would never find an acupuncturist as good as the one I saw for years on the East Coast and I have had many fails in the last 8 years in the Bay Area.
