Grabbed dinner here with the family while visiting Hershey Park. The overall setup is more like a pizzeria versus a restaurant. Didn't realize they were BYOB, but too lazy to drive and get a bottle. Tried their buffalo mozzarella, which I thought was ok and wish they had given more bread with it. Ordered the seafood diavolo, chicken vesuvio, rigatoni bolognese and osso bucco. Pasta and risotto were overcooked, but still ok. Very friendly staff. Street parking.

I'll start by saying when my wife and I want good food, we go to reading. We live in Lebanon and we cannot find good food anywhere around here. So a friend told me about this place so I figured I would give them a shot. The food is awesome and they make you feel like your family. The owners sat at the table beside us and talked to us for over an hour. They also make their own wine. I freaking hate wine, but, for some reason, their wine is really good. Hands down the best restaurant near Lebanon, Pa. Give them a try and you WILL go back. By the way, Friday and Saturday, reservations only!!!!

We ate light as we were going to a comedy show and didn't want to fall asleep.
Overall we had a great experience! I had the Buffalo mozzarella special that day. I am obsessed with Buffalo mozz and it was pretty delicious! Their gluten free options were good which is always appreciated as I have Celiac.
My husband had fried mozzarella and I believe one of their pasta dishes. We ate here last month so I can't quite remember everything.
We did take dessert to go. I got the gluten free strawberry shortcake, it was good but needed way more strawberry and the cake was a tad dry. He got

Food overcooked and way too $$$ for what you get. I ordered GF chicken parm (grilled chicken and GF spaghetti). The chicken was tasteless and way over cooked. The sauce was thin and watery furthermore I ordered spaghetti and they brought me penne. When I questioned I was told "this is what we have". I LOATHE penne had i known this in advanced I would have switched my meal completely. However too late here's your crappy food.
Son ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were tasteless (according to him) and he choked down the pasta with very little sauce.

See attached, as decent young people we didn't appreciate being talked down to...
Owners wife was condescending and had me in tears. I couldn't even finish my food.
Waited 1 hour for my food and I asked why. That didn't go well for me. Never ever will I pay $70.00 to be talked to like she did to me.
Told me Im too young to know what good Calamari tastes like? Ive eaten Calamari since I'm 2 years old in hundreds of restaurants.
Terribly rude and horrible treatment of young people

For those who enjoy authentic Italian, I would go elsewhere - only 2* for you guys. If you are ok with slightly above American Italian, then go here - 3.5 stars. And 5* for our waitress Olivia!
As for me, we've had some of the best Italian food in New Haven, CT, famous for Wooster street and Pepe's pizza. So, to me it was mediocre.
Regardless of your history of Italian food, I definitely do not recommend the pizza. The crust and even overall taste was only marginally better than frozen pizza. They should really just drop pizza from the menu.
We also had rigatoni w/vodka cream sauce

Amazing, amazing, amazing. My family and I just ended a long day at Hershey Park. We called Lazzaro's at 8:45pm and their kitchen closes at 9pm. The hostess said we can take your large party, but you have to order before 9pm. By the time we arrived our salad was waiting on the table for us. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great people.

Food was very good, but the server was either overwhelmed or did not understand timeliness when arriving at the table to greet. We got a pizza and pasta dish. We loved the food. Server neglected to give us a pen to write on the credit card receipt, so I had to go up to their waitstaff station to ask for one. Pleasant atmosphere, and looked popular with the locals.

Ordered some pizzas by phone for pick up. Needed to call back 5 minutes later because were water to add fried calamari. Let's just say it took over 6 minutes for them to even locate my original order and were telling me they couldn't find it. Finally it was located and I was able to add on.
Picked up in 20 minutes as was suggested. Food was ready and hot. Got it back to the house.
The fried calamari.... they were great. Not chewy. Firm. Not overly breaded.
The pizza.... bad. Not the worst but far better in the area. 2 pies, one barely had any sauce the other had a ton. Both were

They accommodated us when we didn't have a reservation which was very nice. I had the lasagna and it was better than average. My wife had the special which she liked also. The issue was the sticker shock for the special. $38 dollars was the special price which was not mentioned. I do not ask for pricing for specials as they usually fall within the restaurants normal pricing scheme. But $38 dollars would be the most expensive item on the menu (excluding some 'dine for 2' options). The tbone with added shrimp costs less.
Also the kids meal is a bit overpriced at $12 but it

Pre COVID review:
Bottom line: delicious Italian at great prices.
Gluten line: menu is marked and they're very aware. Love it.
Long line: we were in the neighborhood and our gluten free app had great reviews. Very happy we went. Our pasta was on par with any of the top Italian spots we have in jersey. Very rich sauces in every dish. I'd definitely come back.
