Services
The original stone building at Greystone Public House was built in 1798 by Godfrey Fritchey, one of Harrisburg's earliest settlers. Fritchey was born in Schoenlinder, Germany, near Dresden, in 1755. In 1783, he traveled with a companion to America, fully intending to return home, however he never left.
Greystone Public House has adopted the "Living Wage" Initiative to bring equality to kitchen staff wages. In lieu of increasing all menu prices, a service charge of 2% will be applied to all food purchases. You will find this at the bottom of your bill. This will be distributed directly to our Culinary Staff Members.

They serve hot tea properly, with the big ceramic pot, instead of a tiny metal container. (They don't put water in the mug.) The spread of the pre-meal snacks would normally be enough to make a meal. When the meal came, the Bass was cooked flawlessly, and flaked apart with my fork. The mussels were tender and fresh. There was so much food, we took three boxes home with us, for a small party of three.

Fantastic service and great food. Picked this place based on location (we were travelling up I-81 on our way to Mansfield and our friends came over from Sellersville) and TripAdvisor reviews. Waitress was super kind in allowing us to stay a really long time (past lunch time) in order to catch up with our friends.

DELICIOUS gourmet comfort food in a clean, casual, upscale setting. Full bar with table seating and separate dining areas make it a perfect place to gather with friends for a drink or an intimate dinner with a date. Reasonable prices for the portions. Multiple outdoor patio areas make for great seasonal dining for lunch or dinner. City chic in the burbs. HIGHLY recommend!!

Great service, and a beautiful atmosphere, but the food lacked flavor. We visited for brunch and shared the maple bourbon cheese curds, kitchen sink, and chicken & waffles. The cheese curds were amazing and I would go back just for those. The rest lacked seasoning and any real flavor. The cheese biscuits in the kitchen sink dish were very crust and dry. The pork gravy lacked the spicy/herby taste of a good southern sausage gravy. The chicken and waffles wasn’t bad, but didn’t pack a punch of flavor either. The bacon gravy for this dish was really bland, and the “bacon” was Canadian style

When you first pull in the place looks amazing, especially the deck. There is an awesome covered area and the gas lanterns are so cool. The interior is also very nice, but the deck seems to be the place to site. Out server was extremely friendly and personal, but the drinks seemed to take a little longer then expected to reach the table considering they were not that crowded. I started with one of their signature cocktails, the Manhattan, it was on the higher end of the price scale at 14, but was a good drink. I switched over to an old fashioned with bulleit, also good, but everyone at the table

In Harrisburg PA for business and decided to try Greystone Public House. The building inside and out are beautiful and the staff is great, our server Sarah was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I tried the Crab Cake Sandwich and it was ok, probably could have used a bit more tartar sauce, the veggies in the sandwich very fresh. The hand cut fries were great, seasoned just right. Will definitely give them another shot.
