Hays Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is located east of I-35, just north of the Central Texas Medical Center. We offer short-term and long-term Skilled Nursing Care and Physical Therapy services. Worst admissions team ever. They are no help they'll make you wait over a month before rejecting you. When you call asking for help they'll get annoyed and give you the run around. Victor and Yuri specifically. They don't understand situations people go through lacking much empathy I just don't know how they're able to do it. I'm done dealing with this place.

The team there is great and really love the residents. The building is a little old but is starting to get updates but the care more than makes up for anything. Additionally, the food is really good which is surprising for a facility like this and the therapy team is incredible. All in all there isn’t a better place in central Texas area for you or your loved one.

My father was a resident here from October 2017 through June 2018. The place isn't brand new, but is clean, no smell of urine. The food was healthy and delicious, and there are more staff per person than other places (particularly California where I live). Further, all staff were friendly and helpful with the exception of two ladies, one older who seemed on the uncaring side, and one very young who told a resident to pick up his feet impatiently while wheeling him to the lunchroom. But they were the only two and they weren't inappropriate or harmful, just not as warm as the rest of
