Owners Deb and Ken LaVoie were recently profiled in the Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce's "Chamber Spotlight" section, which you can read by following this link. The article gives an overview of our history.

In addition to being members of the Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce and the Central Maine Apartment Owners Association, Ken and Deb have offered time and leadership in a number of charitable organizations, including: Thomas Women's Basketball Program, United Way of Mid Maine (Board of Directors, Campaign Co-Chairs, Campaign Cabinet), Town Of Winslow Personnel Appeals Board, Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area (Board of Directors, Executive Board, Special Events Chairperson, Speakers Bureau, Support Group Facilitator, Camp ray of Hope), Corpus Christi Parish (Marriage Preparatory Team, Social Media Committee, Eucharistic Minister), St John Regional Catholic School (Parent Teacher Association President, hristmas Fair), Maine Children's Home Capital Campaign.

We do have a fairly rigorous screening process, and we hope you'll understand that this process is applied to all our prospects, which means a safer, quieter, place to live for you.

Note: For approval, total household income will need to be 3x the monthly rental amount unless applicant(s) have assistance of some sort that is paid directly to us (Sec. 8, SS If this is not the case we will ask for double security deposit, depending on income.

Complete the FIRST section, "HOLDING DEPOSIT AGREEMENT" including the agreement and signature fields. You do NOT need to complete the holding deposit agreement if you've already complete a paper version, AND given a deposit at a showing. There is a place for monthly rent as well as one-time security or other payments.

Q: How do you collect rent? A: We have only two ways we collect rent. Q: Why do you ask people to fill out an application before they've decided whether or not they want the apartment they're looking at? A: We use our application as a "pre-screening tool" to save time for both of us.

When you fill out our secure application, we are able to start a thorough vetting much more efficiently than if we keep you on the phone gathering information that you'll have to put on the application at some point anyway.It saves us both time, and allows us to do our job a little better, that's all.
