Ludwig and Company is a full service property management company specializing in the management of rental apartment communities throughout Illinois. Ludwig and Company takes great pride in all of our communities, and will manage your asset as if it were our own, paying close attention to the details and developing a specialized management strategy to achieve the goals set for each community.
Ludwig and Company was founded by its President, Alan Ludwig, in 1981 to develop and manage Hickory Manor Apartments. Hickory Manor Apartments, a 120 unit Section 8 community located in Waukegan, Illinois was the first property that Mr. Ludwig developed.
Shortly afterwards, Mr. Ludwig developed 2 market rate communities, Pembrook Club Apartments, consisting of 280 units located in Gurnee, Illinois and Skyridge Club Apartments consisting of 180 units located in Crystal Lake, Illinois.Due to the success of these properties, Ludwig and Company was approached by developers and investors to manage their existing and new construction projects.

I have been working for Ludwig & Co. for almost 4 years and I can say that this has been the most supportive company I have worked for. They have/are handling the safety of all staff very promptly during the pandemic. Ludwig & Co. has very skilled staff from the dedicated office/maintenance teams all the way to the responsive corporate office. Highly recommend working for this company.

Good Afternoon, I was highly disappointed with the attitude and approach i got from ((Linda Kellum))). She was unwilling to assist me as a future resident. I came in June 9, 2018, It was a walk in after i was reffered to view the apart at 22501 Butterfield Road, Richton Park IL.
While she was rude and unprofessional. I pleaded with her and… explanined that i was coming from Hyde park .... which is approximately 50min with traffic. Yet No sign of concern to show me a TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT.
The management need to address her on how to be more professional and find a sympathy to future residents
