We are Chad and Bryan, two best friends who started Mulberry Painting in 2010 when we lived on Mulberry Street in the Fan. Life has really changed since then - now we're fathers with wives and kids but we have stuck to the goals we started out with: to be the friendliest, easiest contractors to work with in Richmond.

We hired Mulberry Painting to do a complete facelift on our kitchen. They did a fantastic job and completed the work within two weeks. They made new wood cabinet fronts for all our cabinets, painted our kitchen cabinets and redid our backsplash. They were super helpful in helping us making design choices. The new doors and drawers were beautiful and backsplash was put in perfectly. I would highly recommend them.

If you are seeking a contractor that pays attention to the details this is not the business I would recommend hiring. Initially I had given them a very good rating, even passing off a small area they missed painting as an”oh well,” but isn’t that what it is all about: the details. Well if you agree then beware. They not only missed a small section next to my front door that I caught, but later I found that they didn’t pull out my range and paint the wall behind it. They did pull out the refrigerator, so I don’t get it. Then recently I found that they didn’t paint the ceiling and wall
