With over 15 years of residential painting experience, we will use our interior painting knowledge to assist you with selecting colors, techniques, and decorative options that will make your dream home a reality.
Painting the cabinetry is a less expensive way to update. We carefully remove the cabinet doors and spray them in our Mechanicsville shop. Because of the high quality paint and application, the cabinetry is close to factory quality in appearance and smoothness. While the cabinet doors are sprayed in our shop, the bases are properly prepped and painted in the home.
If your favorite local artist's still life hangs in the dining room, an easy way to draw attention to this piece is an accent wall that compliments the colors in the piece and accent the room with the wall color as well. If your focal point in the living room is the fireplace, let's paint the fireplace or the walls surrounding the fireplace a color complimentary to the other walls.
While painting your grandmother's hutch may be emotionally difficult because you've only know it as it was in her home, panting it is one way to make it belong in your home. Of course, you may want all of your furniture in a certain room to be shabby chic. We will use are chalk painting knowledge and skills to make that happen for you.
Similar to stripes, faux finishing is an alternative to wallpaper and is commonly an accent wall. Faux finishing is a technique using a decorative paint finish to replicate a certain look, for example marble wood, or stone. For example, in a kitchen, the backsplash could be faux finished to look like stone or brick.

I’ve used S&S Painting for 2 jobs in my home. The first an interior room and the second kitchen cabinets and common area walls. Stacey’s guidance in colors on both jobs was invaluable. Work performed beginning 10/12. Typically we perform our own interior painting, but recognized that some soot, leak stains, and stained wood surfaces were beyond our capacity to do well. We chose S&S after seeing their completed work at a neighbor's house, and learning from that neighbor why they had chose this specific company. My wife and I utilized the amazing talents of Stacey and her staff. They were punctual, professional, clean, followed Covid guidelines, respectful of our property, and were a joy to have in my home while painting our kitchen cabinets. Newly constructed homes use a contractor-grade paint and, as such, our 4-yr old home was showing it's age. S&S Painting was enlisted to paint most of the entire first floor and master bedroom....to include the 22-ft vaulted ceilings. Stacey and her crew did a wonderful job on the project using quality S-W paint. They would fix sheet rock nail "pop-ups" and sand imperfections where needed prior to painting. Two coats of paint on the walls and ceiling. Everything looks so fresh and new. We love their work and highly recommend them.

My husband and I are building a new house and felt completely incapacitated when it came to selecting paint colors.
