AHS Compounding Pharmacy is located in West Los Angeles at the corner of Overland Avenue and Palms Boulevard approximately one-quarter mile south of the intersection of the 405 and 10 freeways. Established by David Mohaber, PharmD. in 1997 as a privately owned community pharmacy. AHS specializes in the preparation of custom made medications to meet individual patient's needs.

Compounding is the creation of personalized medicine to fit the unique need of a patient. Trained pharmacists can personalize medicine for patients who need specific: strengths, dosage forms, flavors, or even ingredients excluded from medications due to allergies. If you want to be able to pick up all of your medications in one stop at a time that suits you, talk to us about our medication Synchronization options.
Indicate in the additional information box your preferred pick-up day and if you would like to receive a text or phone call when your refill is ready. Please allow 48 hours for your refill to be made when selecting your preferred pick-up day. Manage your prescriptions from where ever you are. View all your prescriptions in a list along with prescription number, dosage, fills left and expiration.

This Pharmacy has been very efficient and prepares solutions for my elderly dog, that has multiple issues. It’s easy to give him the medication when it’s in a liquid flavored formula that I can quickly and easily administer.
Everyone at this pharmacy has been very professional and helpful. I definitely highly recommend American Health solutions, they also have products for humans and I have bought several things that I needed from this pharmacy when I have been in there picking up my dogs medication. They also deliver for a slight charge. So wonderful to have this option

On the recommendation of my vet, I started going to AHS for compoundng services. We we're once a month clients for several years. That's a long time to get to know a place. As another dog has reached senior status, we need their services again. As I left today, I was struck by what a quality business this is. Parking is sometimes a little tight but that's not their fault. In general they've been on time, fair and always willing to have a discussion if you feel something isn't right. I'm stingy with 5 star reviews but give this one gladly.

Terrible place. This guy David would not give me a straight answer on whether he will charge for the client's pills delivery or not. Initially he quoted15 dollars for a short distance trip so i declined. He then said he will ask owner and then call me back. He never called back so i called. He first said he will take care of it but then when i verified by asking if that means he will not charge for delivery he said that he will charge. So how is that taking care of it i ask. He then insisted on calling my client who had to deal with a medical emergency. He then stated that he squared it away with

Simple little pharmacy on Overland that really did their best to accommodate me and my cats' prescriptions. The cats were prescribed some medicine that, despite it being right near their closing time, the pharmacy staff was able to fill. They took the time to explain to me how to give the cats their medicine, and labeled everything clearly. Definitely recommending this spot.

I have been using AHS services for over 10 years for myself, dogs, cats and the the patients I see as a veterinarian. Trust me when I say there are many ways that prescription medicine can go wrong. With that being said, I have had many a conversation with David the pharmacist regarding prescriptions for myself and animals. I have 110% confidence in his expertise, resources and delivering on those conversations with a smile.
