Our real estate agent hired Don to inspect a home we are buying. He was on time and he was very thorough with the inspection, taking photos and explaining to me what he found. Don also told me what items needed immediate attention and what needed to be watched. I felt comfortable the entire time of the process. Don Bissex was very quick to come out and inspect our new home. He was very thorough and methodical in his inspection and explained problems to us as he went along. We received his written report by email in less than 24 hrs. This helped us to negotiate on some issues with the sellers. Don is everything you could want in a home inspector. He was very thorough and spent a lot of time pointing out the bad (and the good) during his inspection. After spending time with him, I now have a great grasp regarding the inner workings of the home. His inspection allowed me to negotiate down the purchase price due to serious issues he identified, explained and documented. His inspection report is easily understandable with many corresponding pics. It prioritizes repairs to the home that I will need to make going forward. Don inspected two houses for us, and provided inspections that were exceptionally thorough and easy to understand. He was very patient in talking us through the issues he discovered, and took obvious pride and genuine enjoyment in his work. AMAZING and very thorough! I had an inspection with Don a month ago and was nervous about understanding everything. Don explained everything in "kid friendly " language and made it clear so as not to be confused.

My wife and I needed an inspection for the home we are going to buy. I scheduled an inspection with Don for a Monday. The Saturday before the scheduled inspection it was reported that we would be getting a big snow storm on the scheduled Monday. I emailed Don asking about a reschedule and he offered to perform the inspection later that day so we could get it done before the storm!
