Minority Behavioral Health Group (MBHG) is a community health agency that consists of psychologists, counselors, pastors, case managers, and administrative personnel who are committed to providing culturally appropriate and comprehensive counseling services to Summit, Portage, Stark, Franklin and Cuyahoga counties. MBHG is a comprehensive resource for minorities that provides counseling, education, outreach, and consultation services.
Services
We offer educational and preventive programs that promote a holistic approach. The goal of these programs is to promote individual, family and community awareness, collaboration, stability and responsibility. We focus on raising the level of awareness and education within individuals, families, institutions and the community at large.
A trained professional counselor will gather information from the individual being served, through a face-to-face interview. This interview will include a discussion of various interrelated systems; relationship dynamics and patterns of interaction, to include, but not limited to, the following systems: family, friends, marriage partner, significant other, school, church, employment/career, neighborhood, community and environment.

So I came in for my initial visit just to pick up the application and the African lady who I spoke with on Thursday after giving her my information and she did give me a call back and told me that I can come in and pick up an application after she got my information and ran my insurance she did not give me office hours so when I got off work at 3:00 p.m. on Friday I stopped by to pick up the application she came to the door she said they were closed and I said oh I didn't know that because the lady I spoke to on the phone but I remember her voice did not explain that to me so can I just get the
