Life is so often filled with the mishaps, hardships, hurts, and pains that lead us to just surviving instead of fully living. We are so focused on the sharpest edges of our ragged lives that we often forget that in the brokenness we are found, we are known, and we are loved more deeply than we could ever imagine.
It is in our brokenness that we see the reality of who we are, the magnitude of our sins colliding with the sins of others, and the mess that is left. And right there, right in the thick of it all is where God meets us, where He takes all those broken shards and pieces them back together, one by one, creating something so beautiful, so breathtaking, so precious, and so loved that it is hard to comprehend.

Though many try to tell us our feelings are wrong or that we should not have them-- hear this -- you have every right to your feelings. Your voice is one of the most powerful gifts you can give to yourself and to your healing. To be heard, to be seen, to move the souls of others, allows one to take back the life once stolen from their grasp.
