Services
MedTrust is a South Carolina based mobile healthcare provider with a business model focused on serving hospital-systems throughout the southeast. We operate 24/7 365 for ambulance services driven to become the 'provider of choice' in each area we serve. To support our goal of 'Improving Patient Outcomes', we use data-driven, innovative methodologies to ensure our key performance metrics exceed industry standards and client expectations.
Our core service is the delivery of emergent and non-emergent, interfacility medical transport with a coverage area spanning South Carolina, Coastal Georgia and North Florida. With a fleet of fully-equipped ambulances, high-tech dispatch, and state-of-the art compliance systems, MedTrust is able to provide exceptional, compassionate and timely patient care and customer service.
Because we are experiencing rapid growth, we are looking for qualified and enthusiastic people to join our team. For MedTrust to have a patient-centered focus also means an employee-centered focus. Our company strives to be the absolute best company to work for and is constantly building out the "package" of what it means to be a part of the MedTrust family for our employees.
We've partnered with your healthcare provider to give you the simplest, most secure payment experience possible. Interfacility and non-emergent medical transport are often misunderstood. We often answer the question: ".do you show up if we call 911?" The answer is, most of the time no. That is called pre-hospital transport and while we do provide those services to nursing and assisted living facilities, MedTrust primarily serves hospitals.

My husband works at MedTrust and he loves it. He always boast about y’all on how good the company is. He also mentions that MedTrust is the best company that he’s ever worked for. Keep it up on whatever y’all are doing :-)

My husband was recently transported by MedTrust. He has stage 4 throat cancer so is frequently in hospital. He is also difficult to understand. Marcus and Ethan took their time to make sure they understood him. They also constantly monitored him on the long trip. These gentlemen were the epitome of professionalism. Thank you guys!

This past Monday this company was called to LMC to transport my husband home from hospital. We were very unhappy with their service.
1. It took 35 minutes to make what should have been a 10 minute trip. 2. The air conditioning was not working in the back of the vehicle. 3. Attendants were argumentative with patient, used unacceptable language and accused patient of not telling the truth. 4. It took my husband hours to calm down after this ride. My husband is an elderly heart and diabetic patient who is blind.

This company is new to Lexington area it seems. My mother was transported by this service last week. First, they were late to pick her up at LMC, second I was told to stand back and they could handle it (LOAD and Rudely) , third: the ambulance driver was speeding the whole time into Swansea area on 321. Fourth: They almost dropped my mother when they were unloading her from the ambulance. I was told we had to use this service since they were in contract with LMC.. I will NEVER use this service again.

I called for someone to be picked up from the same place they had dropped them off. I was told someone would be here within an hour. After an hour, I called them again to ask for an update. I was told someone was right around the corner and would be here any second. Well...another 30 minutes later, they finally show up! This is completely unacceptable. Why treat elderly or disabled is such a disrespectful way?! It's very very sad.

MedTrust is an amazing company. The company is very focused on customer service and works hard to continually improve processes so as to provide even better service. I was able to watch the caravan of ambulances during the recent hurricane evacuation during Florence and was very impressed with the coordination, from the leadership to the front line employees. When I come in contact with employees at the MedTrust office, everyone is engaged and working hard at their individual tasks. Very impressive!

I have never used there service. However, Clements Ferry is rough in the morning when it comes to traffic and I think it's awful that the driver to vehicle 125 put their lights on just to turn into a gas station. That is a gross misuse of authority. 6:32, 12-14-17

This transport company dropped a patient off at 11:30 for her appointment. We called for the patient to be picked up at 12:30. They did not arrive to get patient until 3:40pm. This patient had to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours! The patient had no lunch! This is completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to transport for anyone. The patients are paying for a service that isn't poorly provided.
