Services
People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons, from coping with major life challenges or transitions, traumas, dealing with depression or anxiety, or simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge. My clinical orientation focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Interpersonal Therapy.
In the initial session, I take time to get to know you and to explore your history. I want to know what brought you into therapy and what you hope to accomplish during our time together. I focus on learning about you and gaining your trust. I also take time to lay out expectations, discuss confidentiality, and complete paperwork.
The relationship between you and your therapist is vital to the success of therapy. You can expect that I keep your information private and confidential. I will act as a professional and respect your autonomy to make decisions at all times. While I may at times offer challenging statements, know that it will be done so respectfully.
My fee for individual or family sessions is $125.00 per 45-50-minutes, and $150.00 for initial intake sessions. I accept some health insurances for payment of sessions and will make every effort to bill accordingly as a courtesy to you. Please be aware that each insurance plan that I am contracted with reimburses at a different rate, which I have agreed to accept.
