We go month by month for all our classes, and we never do contracts. We encourage people to do a free trial class prior to signing up, which can be any day and any time. We will provide one uniform at no charge when you sign up for you first month of classes. We offer discounts for multiple family members.
Lil Kickers is for kids age 2 through 5 years old. The class is one day per week, and 30 minutes long. It is only $50 a month, and no contract. This class is designed for younger kids in a wide age and skill range, but who are too young or not quite yet able to do a full, regular hour long class. Children will learn listening skills, how to wait their turn, and how to follow directions.

Midwest Taekwondo Academy was started in December of 2012 in Westfield, Indiana, by Kristin and Eric Waterman. Mr. And Mrs. Waterman both work full time jobs and this school is not their "bread and butter." They teach simply for the love of taekwondo. Both of them have over 20 years in the art each and come from very opposite backgrounds (from very strict to very laid back) and came together in a middle ground when they formed this school.
Eric Waterman started Taekwondo in 1988 at Oriental Martial Arts College (OMAC) in Indianapolis, Indiana, under Grandmaster Choi. He has trained under multiple masters at multiple schools. Eric currently holds a 4th dan black belt in Taekwondo, and is kukkiwon certified.
Eric has had many accomplishments through his Taekwondo career, including but not limited to multiple state championships in USAT, AAU, medals in Jr. Olympics and at National levels.He was invited to train at the Olympic training camp as a young man, and at one point was ranked #4 in the nation for sparring for his level.

You receive a uniform along with your first full month of paid classes. Any uniform needed or wanted beyond that starts at $40. You do not need to buy anything else prior to the start of class. If you decide to continue your training we recommend everyone buy their own mouthguard and males buy a hard cup and supporter.

Eric and Kristen Waterman are very experienced Taekwondo Martial Artists. They run a great little school. They offer different programs for different age/experience groups. They also offer a Preschool program. It truly is a great way to get your child involved in the community, socializing with other children, learning to following instructions, discipline, coordination, etc. Eric and Kristen are very supportive of their students. Our family is so greatful for all they are teaching our son.
