Heritage Animal Hospital’s Veterinary specialist Dr. Kaitlin Iulo is a truly amazing person! She has such a radiant passion for what she does and she loves the animals she works with! She is so knowledgeable in her field! One of my dogs has a rare condition called Masticatory Myositis which is causing his skull and jaw muscles to deteriorate, which… gives him constant headaches and makes it painful and difficult to chew. Very little is known about what causes it and how to treat it/slow it’s course. Dr. Iulo has been so helpful throughout the process of researching and getting

We have a rescue with a back leg issue and a rescue with Cushing’s and a Chihuahua mix who runs us ragged. The staff at Heritage are so loving and so caring and so professional that the dogs didn’t want to go… home afterwards. Even though mommy and daddy couldn’t go in with them, they never looked back as they walked through the doors.

Our Pug was shaking hard, panting and whimpering on and off. She insisted he did not have pancreatitis, but a stroke of the spine based on her putting her hand up his butt as an exam. She told us to take him off the pancreatitis medication the ER vet prescribed, which only worsened his condition, instead of prescribing the antinausea medication… and pain medication he desperately needed insisting he was not in pain. She chuckled at that request. He needed supportive care and she was extremely cold, she did not care at all. When we took him 2 hours away to Mount Pleasant at Veterinary Specialty

Hi I recently spent a month on HHI. My dog is with me and got sick. I called Heritage and they got him the same afternoon. With the current situation, they came to the car and took him in. They kept me informed on each step they felt should be taken. It turned out he needed overnight care and everything was explained and the reason. They… brought him back out before I left. Heather, the vet tech took excellent care of him through the night. She treated him as her own. She sent updates with a picture. I got a call in the morning to let me know I could pick him up and would be given instructions

Alyssa and Dr Victor not only took care of Maximus, but made sure that I understood the options and treatment needed.
I… cannot say how appreciative I am of the service and compassion that was afforded to me and my little buddy. Words just do not convey that message enough!
If you are looking for a vet and staff who understands your connection to your pet, don’t go further. This is the place!
