Mr. Akana was incredibly thorough, he spent a great deal of time inspecting the property, came out on two separate weekend visits, and was incredibly generous and thoughtful with advice. He took time to explain and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend him! He is a genuinely good person and excellent home inspector.

We used Akana Home Inspection for a home inspection in buying a home. The inspection was very thorough with detailed report that included many pictures. Kekoa was very quick and helpful in answering our follow up questions. Would highly recommend to anyone purchasing a home on the Big Island.

Kekoa is the best. I used him for two different properties and not only is work excellent but he's very nice guy and will give you a really good idea of the place. Hawaii has some very unique places, and coming from the mainland, i found his local knowledge very helpful. He knows exactly what and where to look and will let you know everything you need to know about a property. I'll definitely use him again and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks Kekoa!!

As we were buying our home sight-unseen due to the coronovirus pandemic, the new home inspection from Akana Home Inspection was a critical part of our purchase. The inspector completed a very thorough inspection, including many, many photos in his detailed report. He also Facetimed with me at the conclusion of the inspection so that he could show me directly both things that needed repair and things that were in good working order. I greatly appreciated his attention to detail, personal touch and thorough and professional report.

Before I heard about Akana Home Inspection, I had contacted two other companies. Neither company replied back to me. I then learned about Akana Home Inspections, and Koa immediately set up an appointment with us. He was timely, professional and thorough.
