Your pharmacist highly recommends that you wear a mask for both your protection and the protection of those around you. If you have a fever, have an infection of any kind, or are showing signs of being sick, please return to your car and call the pharmacist for assistance. You may also use our drive thru.
Since 1969, Oakdell Pharmacy in San Antonio has been helping patients, their families and pets. The staff are amazing! I had a very pleasant experience when I popped in to get vaccinated for an upcoming trip. They have a lot of medical equipment and supplies that I would be surprised if you didn't find what you were looking for.

Services
Oakdell Pharmacy was established in 1969 by John R. Carson, and has been a true leader in the industry ever since. Understanding that there are some patients who need special attention and hard to find services such as custom compounding or home delivery, the Carson family created a pharmacy that people can turn to when a regular pharmacy just won't do.
Sync your prescriptions with our pharmacy and pick up all of your medications on the same day each month. We offer a wide range of compounding services, including veterinary, pain, hospice and hormone replacement therapy. We carry a wide selection of medical equipment, including ambulatory aids, nebulizers and bathroom equipment.
As a long-term care pharmacy (LTCP), we provide medications and consultant pharmacy services to long-term care facilities such as nursing homes. As a LTCP, we provide continuous access to a pharmacist as well as offer emergency delivery of medication. Our main focus is to ensure that patients have access to their medication therapies in a timely manner.
Receiving vaccinations prior to your trip will help keep you and your family safe and healthy while traveling. Knowing you are protected from diseases like malaria, yellow fever and typhoid will give you peace of mind so you can spend your time enjoying yourself. It's important to get vaccinated at least four to six weeks before you travel.
When it comes to disease prevention, immunizations are key. Getting vaccinated protects you and those around you. Our main focus is to help you and your loved ones stay up-to-date on the recommended vaccines. We offer a variety of immunizations. Our highly qualified staff can easily administer these immunizations here at the pharmacy.

Only pharmacy around you can find the normal day to day pharmacy items, but also an extensive selection of specialty items to include wound care and home medical and care supplies that include shower chairs to electric recliners, and where else can you get a blood pressure cuff in one part of the store and a Birthday card and candy on the way out, oh and the staff is top notch too...

I've been going to oakdell since my son was born, which he is five now. I've never had issues with them for the most part. Recently they made changes to which insurance they accept and they aren't doing "regular" meds anymore as of September 1st is what they say. I was never informed, I wasn't given any flyer with other meds we have received in Aug. And I even called them this past wed for refills and was never informed. Friday came and went and I was told meds. Were still being worked on. On wed I let them know I only had a few days left of his seizure med and needed refill. I called Friday and

After calling almost every pharmacy in town (4) because my Dad needed just a day's worth of his feeding tube formula (we came from Houston and didn't pack enough :/ my fault) most places didn't have it- understandably, employees just said they don't do that and hung up. Oakdale Pharmacy was the next on the list. I spoke to Doc and Carol and their level of customer service was not only amazing- as they went above and beyond to assist me EVEN after knowing they didn't carry it for pick up same day! Their sincere actions and friendly rapport left me so appreciative for humans like them. Thank you

Always outstanding service. If you cant find what you need, if they carry it they will find it. If they dont carry it, most often they can tell you where to find it. Buy supplies for my husband and myself for nebulizer. Tubing, mask, peace pipe for me. Lol. Hoses/tubing which ever for cpap. Prices are so much better. Medical equipment. They have a large selection. We needed a portable Nebulizer for my husband, something if necessary he could carry, in a backpack or something and use either resting or continuing on depending on situation. We were able to find one that was around $100.00. It has

They had what I was looking for which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. Otherwise, this would be one of those “Zero stars if I could” reviews. First, they’re insanely expensive. I went there for a knee immobilizer. Online they sell for anywhere from $20 - $40. It was $60 here. (I realize a speciality pharmacy is going to have significant markup, but still wanted to mention it in case some people weren’t).
The main issue was the customer service. They acted completely disinterested and like they were doing you a favor. I was having trouble adjusting the brace to fit my leg (had to
