Our apprenticeship program is designed to teach you all you need in order to be the best stylist. We hold weekly sessions to teach you everything you need to know, and you also receive personal Aveda training. As you are learning behind the scenes, we also provide real in-salon training where you get to help and assist stylists with their needs.
By the time you end our program, you will be fully prepared and confident to be taking in your own clients! The apprentice program is hard work, but rewarding work! I have learned so much from the hands-on experience provided and from my coworkers. I feel like the program was spectacular at preparing me for real-life scenarios and for starting a successful career as a stylist.

Our stylists participate in consistent ongoing education to remain trend and technique leaders in styling, cutting and coloring. To keep your haircut fresh between visits we offer a complimentary bang and neck trim. Listed prices are a base price and may increase with length, texture and stylist category.
Tanja is originally from Chicago and has been in the hair industry for over 10 years! Something that stands out about Tanja is that she really takes the time to customize her service to her customer. She takes into consideration your facial shape, skin tone, etc to give you the perfect style. If Tanja isn't in the salon, you can find Tanja out eating some good pizza!

Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy is a system that infuses Keratin deep into hair cuticles eliminating up to 95% of frizz and curl. Results last up to six months (depending on hair type.) With this system, the more you treat your hair, the healthier it becomes.
Client Coordinators are responsible for efficiently operating the front desk. The primary functions of the front desk include checking in clients, booking appointments and closing out sales. They are also responsible for taking incoming calls and booking reservations, as well as managing appointment books for stylists.

Me and my son have been coming here for a while now and it's really a great location with very nice staff. Kelly always cuts our hair and she's a delight. She always makes sure that we leave completely happy with our hair cuts. It's gotten to the point to where I'll wait if she's booked and just let my hair grow. Even my kid wants to wait on her. Even when I forget about my appointment, they send a text out to remind you a couple days prior. Highly recommend, ask for Kelly!!

Had a 3:00 appointment and was told about my stylist, “she’ll be out in a minute”and “she’ll be done in a second”, etc. At 3:18 I was told “she’s still with someone else, so Megan can cut your hair”. How did it go from “she’ll be out in a second” to she’s to busy with someone else? At 3:00 couldn’t she tell she had a lot more to do, and passed me off then, instead of wasting my time? I’ve been here before, and based off all of my experiences, it feels like men are definitely not important to their business.

Went here on a Saturday morning for a cut and style and was scheduled with stylist Katy. From the moment I sat in the chair, Katy’s tone was rude and unfriendly. When I tried to explain the cut I wanted, she cut me off and wouldn’t let me finish explaining. The whole time I was there, it was awkward and uncomfortable. I don’t ever expect to go to this salon again. Katy’s customer service skills are in serious need of improvement.

Finally someone who cares😁I called at 5pm to see if by a chance they could do a haircut and wash and they could right away. The salon had a homey feel. I told Deetra what I wanted and she actually listened to what I had to say. She didn’t pressure me to cut anymore than I asked unlike other places. She also helped me pick a moisturizing treatment to bring some health back. She was super nice and sweet and it was enjoyable talking to her. She spent the time to work with my SUPER thick hair. This was my first time in about 15 years I had been to a professional salon to get my hair colored. I had Marci and she did an excellent job of finding out what color I wanted and how I wanted my hair to look once it was done. It was very relaxed and relaxing to go to her and have a good time. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want your hair done in a way that you love and you enjoy.

Can I start by saying if you aren't seeing Olivia you aren't getting the experience you deserve. I met Olivia when I was 15 years old and here I am 17 years later and still following her wherever she goes. Her expertise in color and cut is beyond words can explain. Before my visit I expressed my frustrations with the manager and she assured me that I would be in great hands. My new stylist listened to my concerns and addressed how the color correction process would take place. She explained each step to me, and she brought out color swatches so I could visualize the end result. My hair is now PERFECT! I'm beyond grateful for everyone that helped me see this hair debacle to an end. I would definitely recommend this salon. I am only

This was my third visit to SOG and maybe my last. As I left out of there in tears. Today's visit was supposed to be a color correction from a haphazard visit last week. When I called to let them know I was unhappy with my color last week, I was asked if I would mind keeping the same stylist but a manager would be with her to help with the correction. I was hesitant but felt it would be ok because this would also be a learning experience for my young stylist. I was completely wrong! No manager assisted my stylist and on top of that she gave me an attitude for not liking my hair in the first place

Today was my first time in, and I was just wanting a cut with some more front layers. I expressed my concerns with Ashley about getting more layers with already thin hair, and she listened to exactly what I wanted! I decided to try Salons at Stone Gate because my fiance has his hair cut here and has had good experiences with it. Well, that was my mistake. I went in for a round of highlights to return to my natural blonde color after growing out reddish brown highlights and a red box color as I went dark for Fall/Winter.

I absolutely LOVE Salons of Stonegate. The front desk staff is always so friendly and they are great at making you feel welcome. My girl Dena is the best! She always has the coolest hair colors and styles and she can do just about anything! I started seeing her almost 3 years ago when I was pregnant with my son and now she cuts his hair! Anna is my hair stylist. She listens to what you need and helps you see things that you didn't see for yourself. I walk away with great hair every time! The Salon it self is clean, vibrant and has little refreshments. I do wish they had better and more comfortable chairs at the hair washing station.

I did not have my hair done in 6 years since I couldn't find someone.. until I met Melanie at Salon at Stone Gate. She has now colored my hair twice and did a complete new hair cut (chopping off like 6 inches). I absolutely love going here. They serve complimentary wine, great atmosphere, and super relaxing. Melanie helps you decide what will be good for you while ensuring you are completely comfortable committing to the color/cut before hand. I have never been so in love with my hair until I have started coming here. Highly recommend to everyone and will definitely be back!!

I had a bad experience at a different salon the first time i colored my hair. I never did it again until someone recommended Caitlin to me. I was so nervous but she was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. On top of that she did an AMAZING job! I am so in love with my hair again! This girl is very talented and i would recommend her to anyone! Along with that, the overall atmosphere in the salon was very comforting and welcoming. Great place!

Well first of all this places is great, everyone is so nice, they offer you water , coffee, cookies even a blanket if your cold so it's pretty cool.
I had my appointment with kelly and she is just amazing, i was really scared to get my hair dyed but I'm glad i did she did a great job i love it and everyone thinks i look super cute so i really recommend this place! I wouldn't trust anyone with my hair before but now i do with her!
