I will never be able to thank Elisa enough for pushing me to get my past trauma out. TIR was very intense but I know I wouldn't be where I am with starting my life over without her. I'm a very tough cookie to break but she never gave up on me. She helped me tear down a wall so deep that I see daylight again.

I called to make an appointment for my daughter and they said with all their “therapist” they couldn’t get her in for a month. I said that that was fine and I would like to make an appointment. They then said to call back in a month to make it. When I asked why I couldn’t just make one now they had no real reason other than they didn’t know what their schedule would look like. I’ve worked at doctors offices and scheduled patients and this makes no sense. I believe the only reason they wouldn’t book with me is because I said I was cash pay. They NEVER answer the phone when you call

Brian Preston is an amazing therapist. He is patient, compassionate and understanding. He works very well with children providing them with the best service there is. He spent the time to get to know my child and develop a trust built relationship. He brings board games and other fun activities so that it makes the session more comfortable for my son.

Would not recommend this facility at all. Barbara was our counselor for one appointment and without listening to us she chimes in with 15 minutes and said to break up and then said you probably don’t want another appointment. She was awful. I scheduled an appointment with a different counselor and had to cancel. Now, I am getting a 50 dollar no show fee when I cancelled. They do not listen and their billing practices are questionable. Find a different place to go if you can!!! I would give this place 0 stars.

This is an amazing facility! Everyone at Southwest Florida Counseling Center makes you feel like you’re at a comfortable and safe place where you can speak your mind without being judged. My therapist, Tia, has helped me turned into the person I’ve always wanted to be but never thought I could. She focuses on mindfulness and self fulfillment and creating your own happiness! I truly would recommend this place to anyone :)

I would 100% recommend this center to anyone seeking counseling. Everyone there is very helpful, caring, and professional. I didn't feel judged or uncomfortable walking in there for the first time and my counselor was so helpful, understanding, and compassionate. I'm so happy I went to this center for counseling. It honestly changed my life for the better!

The young girl at the front desk should be more pleasant at welcoming/making patients and families feel welcomed and communicating in good spirits with patients and families . The front desk staff sets the tone for the entire practice itself and my experience thus far hasn't been all that positive in this aspect. Something as simple as a smile, goes a long way. Other than this, my experience with the counselor has been great and I would definitely recommend my children's therapist, Jocelyn to friends and family.
