My name is Dr. Thomas Glaza and I am the CEO of Tri-County Counseling and Life Skills Center. I never thought Tri-County Counseling and Life Skills Center would ever be what it is today. I remember when I rented a room to provide counseling for individuals in 2005 and now we have three offices and help more people than I could ever dream.
I was able to serve our country in the Navy for over 20 years and now I am able to serve the community of Southwest Florida as the CEO of Tri-County Counseling. In 2004, I identified that there were no outpatient substance abuse or mental health services available within North Port's city limits. In January of 2005, I founded Tri-County Counseling & Life Skills Center, Inc. to meet that need.

Today our lives are filled with many demands. When things seem overwhelming a crisis occurs that can spin our lives out of control. If a crisis is not resolved in a healthy manner, the experience can lead to more lasting psychological, social and medical problems. If you are having a medical emergency or have suicidal/homicidal ideations call 911.
We sincerely believe that people can overcome their dependence to any substance and that most of us cannot accomplish this by ourselves. If we could, we wouldn't have gotten into unhealthy situations in the first place. We use a different approach than most treatment providers. We do not believe that addiction is a disease and do not use a 12 step approach.

Charles was a wonderful therapist that was very easy to speak to and open up to. He was understanding and gave great advice. I was going through some really serious issues and he helped me immensely. I would recommend Charles to anyone looking for help and serious about getting their lives together.

I went in for an evaluation for a custody battle and came out with a health and wellness plan. DR. GLAZA is very thorough and writes your side of the story well for court. He also thinks about your children and offers counseling after the "strorm" of court is over. He really cares. I highly recommend this team of professionals when your in need of proving to the courts or your x your position. Best of luck.

We took our daughter to see Dr. Glaza due to issues that she has been having over the course of the last few years. Upon meeting with her, Dr. Glaza recommended that she take the PAI assessment which he administers. Once he completed the assessment, it was literally like a huge gate opened up and everything finally made sense. Every area of her assessment was spot on. If you are a parent or if you are personally having troubles, I cannot recommend this assessment enough. My daughter has a very long road ahead of her but at least we know what is causing it now. She was misdiagnosed before and was
