Dr. Tori Thuy-Conrad is originally from Hue, Vietnam. She and her family came to America for a better future and a chance at freedom in 1980. Growing up with the Vietnamese name Thuy (Twee), Dr. Conrad's siblings gave her the nicknames "TWEETY" and "BIRD". While she didn't care much for those names then, she has grown to love it, leading her to naming the practice after it.
Dr. Conrad attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry. She then moved to Minneapolis where she studied to be a dental hygienist prior to entering dental school. Dr. Conrad earned her DDS degree at the University of Minnesota. She then pursued her passion to serving children by completing a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry also at the University of Minnesota.

Who knew the dentist could be so much fun! My 2.5 year old loved the tablets and train table in the waiting room, the TVs on the ceiling during her visit, and the prize machine before going home. I loved that the staff were all super friendly and that they interacted with my daughter in such a friendly and age-appropriate way by giving simple directions, providing frequent praise, singing engaging songs, etc. All I had to do was sit back and relax!

LOVE Dr. Conrad and her team! My 4yo. was definitely skeptical about going into his appt. but her and the team did such a great job with talking him through everything and really just going at his pace and not forcing any of it. Thank you gals so much for all you do -- looking forward to coming back.

We came to Tweet after we were told at our original Dentist that my son would need a root canal and potentially a crown. They referred us to a pediatric Dentist since they work with kids all day and have a different atmosphere the kids feel comfortable in. And boy were we happy we went. From the beginning, my son loved the art work on the walls, to how great the staff was! They treated him like the little person he is and spoke with him in such a way that made him feel so comfortable. Then when it came to treating him they went with a less invasive option to stop any more harm to happen to his

This was our first visit here. I was amazed from the time we pulled into the parking lot past the awesome Tweet sign, to walking in the doors of the very modern, clean, and fun building, after talking to all the wonderful employees, and back out through the doors with happy kids. This place is an amazing practice that is one-of-a-kind. I'm so happy we were referred here, and I hope I can do the same for others down the road. Can't wait to recommend Tweet to anyone and everyone with kids. Thank you!

I was so nervous to bring my 1 year old in for tooth staining due to a supplement, I kept thinking she's too young, she hated people looking in her mouth, etc. They were wonderful!! They knew when to push and when to stop. They removed the staining quickly and made the experience a positive one! We will definitely be long term patients!!
