Dr. Bobby F. Shunnarah was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He, along with his siblings, is first-generation American. Dr. Shunnarah prides himself on hard work and determination thanks to the lifelong lessons taught by his parents, Elias and Reema Shunnarah.
His father came to America at the very young age of 26 with two hundred dollars in his pocket, determined to make a better life for his family so they all could live the American dream.Mr. Shunnarah instilled in his son a passion for family, for treating everyone with respect and treating them as if they were family as well.

I was referred here by a friend, and I must say I AM SO GLAD. I’ve had some pretty traumatic experiences at the dentist, but my appointment today blew me away. First off, Jennifer at the front desk has to be one of the coolest, friendliest people I’ve ever met. As well as Samantha, my hygienist. I told her I was having anxiety and she relieved almost all of it. She was so gentle and kind. I can tell everyone at this clinic is truly genuine, and they really go in DEPTH with your dental health. Dr Shunnarah was hilarious and also really personable and great at his job. Above and beyond service that you can't find anywhere else. During the pandemic when everyone closed, they stay open and assist all those in need, including search for care and coordinate with other dentists facilities to provide you the best care for your 4yr old child becuz they can only admitted 5yr old and older; their delication to your child health goes above profit and this first encounter put me in complete trust should I need dental care in the future; I'm definitely returning.

Hands down the best dentistry experience you will ever have. Dr. Shunnarah’s staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. My first visit was one of a kind. I went in for a routine teeth cleaning, and they blew me away with how thorough they were. Today was my first visit at Montevallo Family Dentistry, and Dr. Shunnarah proved to me how much he genuinely cares for his patients. All around amazing experience. They truly earned my five star review.
