I was referred here by a coworker who spoke really highly of the place. I went online & booked an emergency appointment for a broken filling. I was sent paperwork to fill out prior to appointment, in which I indicated that I had a broken filling and when I arrived I let the receptionist know that I was there get a broken filling repaired. The wait was awful, my appointment was at 3, I sat waiting over an hour. I finally make it to the back and say another 20 to 30 minutes just for the dr to come and tell me my teeth was broken. After sticking a qtip on my teeth, he then says ok it looks like you

Called to get an appointment here for something my regular dentist does not do and received one just a few days later. Dr. Haring was amazing! He explained everything thoroughly and went through with the procedure so smooth. Although no one likes going to the dentist, my experience here was great and I look forward to seeing them again in a few months!

I hadn't been to the dentist in years. And other than just going to have a tooth pulled I wouldn't really go to the dentist and hadn't had my teeth cleaned in years, but felt it was time for me to take care of my teeth. It was my first visit with office to have my teeth cleaned and they made me feel very comfortable I am very happy that I chose them for my dental care. I am glad to have Luma Dentistry for my dental care. And I will recommend them to my family and friends.

I broke a tooth off at the gum line. The scheduled me to come in the following day. They got all the preliminary work done by moving schedules around to accommodate me. I appreciate it so much! The staff is awesome!
I got my bridge put in today. I am very happy with the way it looks and fits. Plan to have more dental work done after the first of the year.
I was prepped for another bridge yesterday. Looking forward to getting the final bridge.

Luma dentistry has been astounding! Dr. Filler in particular has exhibited a very professional, modernized approach on old fashioned bedside manners. I had my very first visit at Luma Dental in McCalla, Alabama today and it was well worth the 40 minute drive.
I explained to Dr. Gray that I’ve experienced extreme dental anxiety in the past and he made a great effort to make me comfortable during my visit. His assistant Alli was just as nice and made sure to explain their clinical process as well as the financial aspect of my service.
I’m actually looking forward to my next visit.
That says a lot when it is coming from someone who has dreaded going to the dentist.

For most of my life I avoided going to the dentist unless absolutely necessary that was until I discovered McCalla Dental (now Luma Dentistry). Everyone there is exceptionally kind and compassionate and they go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable.
I have had everything from cleanings to root canals to wisdom teeth removal and was not nervous during any of them thanks to their professionalism.
I cannot recommend them highly enough!

At first, I liked Luma Dentistry. I didn't mind the drive from Birmingham to Mccalla. I made my mind up and choose this dental office to complete the denture implant procedure. This is not a short process. Along the way, I feel I was taken advantage of and overcharged more than once. I hope that I'll be so satisfied with the final product that I'll come back and change my review.

As a new patient the process was very smooth, the wait time was minimal. I found out i had to have a root canal and it was scheduled immediately. The dr's and staff are all so friendly and reassuring. Even with being covered by insurance i still had out of pocket expenses and they give you several options including a discount because i paid in full that day.

Making an appointment is easy. When you arrive every one is quick to check you in and smiling. Very pleasant front desk staff and they quickly make you comfortable!
The office is beautiful, tastefully decorated and welcoming. And.... free WiFi if you need it!
Dr Ted came to my rescue a few years ago when a molar had a run in with an olive pit~ in which the olive pit won.
I'm terrified of dental work but Dr Ted and his staff quickly gave me nitrous, took care of me and sent me

This place is great! They are always on time! They do a super cleaning. It's the nicest dentist's office I've ever experienced. All their equipment is state of the art and appears brand new. You have a nice view out to a beautiful green while your in the dentist's chair. You almost forget that you're at the dentist. I'd highly recommend them!
