Children between the age of birth and six possess an "absorbent mind". This almost genius capacity for mental absorption enables them to learn their native tongue, to perfect movement and internalize order. Maria Montessori observed that children also experience Sensitive Periods in their development.
Our mission is to instill in every child self-confidence, a sense of curiosity, and joy for learning in order to equip them with the skills they need for lifelong success. We back up our commitment to that philosophy with one word: Succeed. Succeed is the acronym that reminds us of the goals we have for every child enrolled in our school.
Not all Montessori schools are alike. Some are Montessori in name only. Others have the teachers but lack a vision, some are businesses and some have the credentials, vision and prepared environment essential to qualify to be called a Montessori school. There are a number of clues that will assist you in knowing which one is true to the Montessori standard such as the following:.

We love this school for our toddler daughter. She’s been bouncing in happily since day 1 when she was 14 months old. The staff have taken a vested and personalized interest in her well-being and development. On a daily basis she comes home with new skills like sign language signs, saying new words, new songs, holding a crayon, eating with a fork or spoon, sitting still and listening, and on and on. It is clearly a school and not just a daycare environment. The classrooms are clean and colorful and bright. The school takes covid precautions very seriously. Definitely recommend checking it out

This is a fabulous place. I chose here because this is the nearest Montessori around my house. I am not very sure about the quality at the time I sent my son here but since it is so convenient, I'd like to try out. Usually kids would need weeks to a month for a one year old to get used to a new place, but it only took four days. On the fifth day, my son smiled at me when the teacher took him from my arms, and waved hand to say "bye bye" to me. I know he must have good day at school. Nothing could be better than he likes the new school.

My two years old daughter loves the teachers at this school. The teachers truly care about my daughter and they had taught her so much. They provide great variety of food and snack. She is constantly learning new things and she can’t wait to go to school everyday. I highly recommend the Montessori of Sugar Land.

Moved my 3yo here after having some issues with her last school. within 2 weeks of placing her here it was like night and day, she constantly says how much she loves school and her friends and teachers. she seems to be doing well in the learning areas and is eager to learn more. the Montessori setting is great. also, usually I hate the uniform thing, especially at such a young age, but they allow for flexibility in the material and colors so its been much easier to shop for and allows for more comfortable pants options. the staff is great, very friendly and consistent. it also seems like they have
