Pegasus Engineering
Pegasus Engineering, LLC was founded in the Greater Orlando area by experienced civil engineering professionals and is now in its second decade of providing high-quality public infrastructure engineering services. Pegasus has primarily provided transportation and stormwater management engineering services across Florida to cities, counties, FDOT (Districts 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7), and the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX, formerly OOCEA).

Pegasus is a certified MBE, DBE and SBE firm, and is headquartered in Winter Springs (Seminole County), with a branch office in the Tampa Bay Area. Furthermore, Pegasus is extremely fortunate to have experienced almost zero staff turnover due to our collegial work environment, which is an exceptional accomplishment among engineering firms across rapidly growing Florida.
Services
Pegasus has successfully secured and managed grants from County, State, and Federal agencies that total over $64M. Our transportation team members have completed a wide range of projects, including preliminary and final construction plans, drainage system design, signalization systems, signage, lighting, ITS systems, MOT plans, cost estimates, bidding and construction phase/CEI services.
From multi-lane and limited access design to highway traffic operations assignments, Pegasus has a proven track record of successful transportation engineering projects. We are extremely proud of the fact that the average experience level of Pegasus' Transportation professionals are among the highest in Florida.
Our Utilities Department is led by an experienced Sr. Engineer with over 40 years of utilities planning, design, and permitting experience serving multiple cities and counties across Florida. Our primary focus is on water, wastewater, and reclaimed conveyance and transmission systems, including water mains, sanitary sewers, pump stations, force mains, and reclaimed pipelines.
Pegasus professionals have successfully secured and managed grants from County, State, and Federal agencies that total over $64 million dollars. These grants fund the design and implementation of over 50 retrofit projects.

Our stormwater professionals have extensive experience with FEMA regulations and grant programs, having secured over $44 million in grant funding from FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) Programs, which include the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Program, the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Program, and the Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Program.

I had the pleasure of working with Leylah S. and all I can say is "wow". What a professional ! Extremely knowledgable and very thorough. She took the time to explain to me how FEMA Programs work and how they apply to my property. Sometimes people have a gift. If the rest of the company is anything like this person 5 Stars all the way!
