A number of services are offered to help patients improve and maintain their health including physical therapy, wellness services and consulting. PT for Women provides hands-on, customized care. Many believe pain is an unavoidable symptom following childbirth, surgery, birth control use, or simply getting older. It's not uncommon to just accept pelvic floor dysfunction or discomfort as part of everyday life. These issues may manifest as urinary urgency, constipation, or painful sexual intercourse.
At Physical Therapy for Women, Anne is dedicated to helping patients reduce and prevent dysfunction as well as improving overall wellness. These wellness services can be utilized as an extension of physical therapy or simply a way to feel your best. Services are open to patients with osteoporosis, athletes recovering from injury, pregnant women, postpartum moms, or anyone looking to improve their overall health and wellness.
As a local expert on women's health issues and a certified MUTU Pro, Anne frequently speaks on many of the issues that affect women's heath across their lifespan. She currently teaches and lectures at The Birth Center in Wilmington, Delaware Technical Community College and the University of Delaware Graduate Therapy Program.
Anne got her start working in a high volume, fast-paced orthopedic environment. As a physical therapist, she couldn't help but notice a blatant need for a more specialized approach to women's health. Rather than relying on generic treatments and surgery, Anne wanted to take a personal, holistic route to helping her patients overcome their individual obstacles.

I had my first PT session with her today, and I am pain free for the first time in 4 months and we haven't even gotten to any internal work yet! She also assured my that I CAN, in fact, be fixed. ;-) I am beyond happy and will refer anyone who needs help to her. Anne is also very personable and
