Services
McCart Pharmacy is located in McCart Avenue in Fort Worth Texas. It is a start-up firm in the retail drug market. The pharmacy has a permanent pharmacist and one standby for emergency and continuity. McCart Pharmacy is the first to serve the McCart Avenue and its immediate underserved environs. Inhabitants of this area are at least 8-10 minutes drive away from the nearest pharmacy.
As a privately-owned, community-based, retail pharmacy, McCart Pharmacy is able to provide patients and health care professionals with low-cost but high quality pharmacy products. We have more control over the prices set on commodities and services available at our drugstore because we operate independently unlike large chain pharmacies.
At McCart Pharmacy, our pharmacist and pharmacy technicians are capable for custom preparing medications to suit a patient's unique and very specific needs. When your doctor gives you a compounding prescription, trust that our team can accurately prepare the specialized medication you need. Compounding is the art and science of creating medications from base ingredients.

TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. Very poor communication and unreliable hours. Do not fill medications in a timely manner even when I call ahead. Not to mention they NEVER answer the phone so I always have to leave a message. I drive almost an hour from home and they are still don't have them ready when I arrive. Would give zero or even negative stars if that was an option.

AVOID THIS PHARMACY!
These are products we put in our mouths. This is after Covid struck.
I went in to pick up my prescriptions, and there was one tech behind the counter, and they weren't wearing a mask. They had to fill one of them while I waited. They filled it with no mask on, and I watched them touch their hair with their glove-less hands. So I asked them to redo that one. As they go to do it, another tech comes in from outside, with no mask, and hands them what they ask for, which is the bottle containing my medicine. They go ahead and fill it again, without washing their hands first from

I don’t recommend this place at all. This little rat shack of a pharmacy is the worse, they never answer the phone When you call, you can drive all the way to the store and no one will be in there so when you’re in need of a prescription or a refill it’ll probably take 800 phone calls and 300 trips up there before you ever get it. My suggestion go somewhere else.

It wasn’t the worst service in the world, but by far not the best. It’s a small store and not many customers. So, I couldn’t really understand why it took so long for someone to look up from their computer and assist me. Also, their location (which I know is out of their control) made me nervous. It wasn’t because of the people there, but rather the way they drove. I tend to drive on the fast side of 35 mph, but when I feel like I HAVE to go at least 45 mph in a 30 and am still getting past up, that just doesn’t make me feel very safe. As a matter of fact, the first time I went there

Went out of their way to help me get a medicine. Saved a lot of money with fair cash pricing. Remember: pharmacies lose money on insurance transactions. If you're paying cash, you should definitely use a smaller, private pharmacy such as this one. They'll give you a fair price, usually lower than what you'll find at CVS or WalMart. A 30 day supply of my meds (no insurance) was $47 at WalMart. McCart Pharmacy price for a 90 DAY SUPPLY: $45. I'm thrilled, a happy customer, proud to support a local business.

So... through the circumstances of my life, I am obligated to use this pharmacy. Here's an honest review of the good and bad.
1. Very unreliable; they're always late in the mornings so don't expect to do anything at 9am...ever. Secondly don't expect them to answer the phone the first time you call, so just keep trying. The 3rd time someone will usually answer....usually....
2. Lazy and limited; I interact with the staff on a very regular basis. They do not do anything whatsoever extra to help you. The attitude is very 'I don't know and I don't get paid enough to find out so you figure it out
