The prospective tenants, have to take a selfie, a picture of their ID, provide their credit card information to then get a one-time code for access to the property. Then they view it alone, and lock up once they're done. Having a well qualified tenant in your property is the difference between stress free income and high stress investment property nightmares.
We believe in earning our fees month after month, which is why we always operate on a month to month agreement. If your goals change or if you are not happy, you can cancel anytime. Both you and your tenants will have an online portal-yours, where you can store documents, make contributions and keep track of your property.

I went to all the time and trouble to apply for a property to rent, did my part above and beyond. Agent never showed me property, the owner did. What the advertisement said and what the owner said varied on many topics. Then, the agent said it would take a week or so to get back to me as they had so many applications to review. Really 10 days?? Then, the agent never would return my texts or calls. Finally his mailbox was full. Tried to leave a message on tenant planet and their mailbox is full. Completely Poor Service Highly do not waste your PRESCIOUS TIME AND ENERGY!!! Very Disastisfied. Plus

Rented from a property owner who used this company. Had such a terrible experience that I purchased a home and refuse to ever rent again. This company treats renters (the actual mortgage payers) very poorly and does not respond to maintenance request in a timely fashion (I.e., 2+ months to get broken A/C repaired and 5+ months to get broken outlets replaced) despite having a home warranty on the property.

I'm the neighbor of a property that is managed by Tenant Planet. During our big storms in San Diego back in December, the old fence adjoining my backyard with the neighbor managed by Tenant Planet blew down. At first, it seemed the experience working with Tenant Planet would be fine. We talked through email about options for the contractor to replace the fence. That took quite a few months, a bit longer than I thought warranted, but there was movement so it was ok.
Then I started getting 1 month delays between responses on emails. The months pass, and more of our fence blows down. We have 2 sections

Seems like a great company for landlords but horrible for tenants. Moved in April 15... currently May 27 and have yet to hear a response from Vanessa who is apparently in charge of this property. Complained smell of mold in the house and wanted to have it inspected... no answer to emails or voicemails. Seems like they are just waiting for a lawsuit to happen. Maintenance request submitted a week ago for the microwave not heating and have yet to receive any status updates. I have called the maintenance line but it rings forever and no one answers. One of the worst experience as a tenant. The company is ignoring our maintenance requests the day we moved in 2 months ago. no water pressure, dryer not working, front door broken. . They did the minimum, it is impossible to contact them and to have answers. It's maybe a good company for landlord but I will recommend not to sign a lease with them.

Great for landlords, horrific for tenants. Maintenance requests are ignored. Emails and voicemails are never answered. We've called ONCE A DAY FOR A WHOLE WEEK and still nobody will acknowledge the fact that our roof is leaking into one of our bedrooms.
The lease agreement they sent over was 100% wrong and we've been waiting for a reply back to our concerns for over 3 months. 1 star is too much.
