Working with Julie was so easy! We were able to meet her our and about to try some tots and talk over details. On the day of our reception the cart was there, set up and ready to go as planned, with an adorable sign our front just for us. Owner, Julie Crist started The Tot Cart to follow her passion and dream of owning her own business. She will be the first to tell you that dreams really do come true. With a lot of hard work and amazing tot recipes, Crist has taken The Tot Cart from being a cart in the sea of food trucks to one of the most sought after food carts in the area.

Critical: Professionalism
We had the Tot Truck booked at our venue for several dates - all of which were cancelled with no real reason and at the last minute (one only 4 days away). As the event director - I think this kind of business practice is very unprofessional. They will not be booked at our venue go forward. You've been warned!

I cannot comment on the food quality as we never got to experience it. The Tot Cart canceled on a wedding last weekend just a few hours before the ceremony. While personal emergencies may happen, communication was poor and the owner never followed up on her offer to help find a replacement. Leaving a bride and groom so disappointed and their guests without food for cocktail hour is unacceptable.

Beware of sell outs! These Tater Tots sell out every single event! I try to get them every chance I get and even had them come to my wedding and my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah! So yummy! So professional! I can’t say enough good things! The signature beer cheese and whatever is on special and you won’t be disappointed! Super large portions so everyone can share! Don’t miss this food truck if it comes your way! Thanks Tot Cart!

Came to the new meh Love Park for lunch and there was the Tot Cart. Six or seven different versions of tots from plain to those with cheese, garlic/parm, bacon, pork roll, and other combos for reasonable $6-$7 today.
I got the garlic parm Tots and they were crispy crunchy with just the right amount of toppings that covered every individual Tot. No bad Tot in the overflowing mound of Tots for the money. Very filling!
Can't live off of Tots but can sure try to. Hope they'll be back soon to Love Park!

The Tot Cart is, without a doubt, the best food truck in Philadelphia. If you are fortunate enough to attend an event that includes The Tot Cart, then you are very fortunate indeed! My personal favorite is the New Bay: an entire pound of golden tater tots, tossed in old bay seasoning, smothered in their INCREDIBLE homemade beer cheese. The beer cheese is out of this world, I wish they served it by the jar!
They have tons of toppings that rotate. I have seen bacon, pulled chicken, pulled pork, bbq, buffalo, cheesesteak, mac and cheese, and I have even seen spaghettios.
The staff are very friendly

I could say $9 is a lot for tots, but not when the quality and freshness of the ingredients is on point and the portions are gigantic.
You could order plain tots, but why ever do that to yourself? Go for loaded.
I got the beer cheese and bacon tots which are about as fatty and salty as you can imagine, a cardiac arrest in each little flaky pocket, if you will. But let's face it, I'm not paying $9 for health.
The bacon looks like bacon bits but are authentic, crispy pieces of delicious, juicy, salty bacon. And they do not skimp on it. The beer cheese is decadent and tasty. Trust me

And while these tots would be great on their own, the Tot Cart also has a variety of toppings to up the taste factor. The toppings range from old bay to their famous drunk cheese sauce. I love tater tots and was super excited when I saw this truck would be at the Lower Bucks Food Truck Festival at the YMCA in Doylestown.
I had the tots with their beer cheese...loved them!!! I asked for the cheese on the side so I could dip, no problem they said. The tots were nice and crisp, cooked perfectly!! The beer cheese was tasty with a slight hint of the beer flavor, not overpowering at all. LOVED THEM!! Can't say that enough. To top it off, I had my hands full and one of the ladies carried my tots and cheese to where I was sitting with my family, super nice and unexpected. Thank

I love the tot cart sooo much!
First time I ate here was at Chadds Ford winery on a rainy December day. We walk up and see that there is a place serving hot tots with toppings!?! Sold!! I tried the garlic parm which is definitely my favorite that I have ever tried from the tot cart. They take tots that are cooked absolutely perfectly where they stay super crispy, but not burnt, and then the load them with garlic and parm. When I say load, I mean it. I probably should not have breathed in the vicinity of another human for days.

One of my favorite Philly food trucks! I've gotten tots a handful of times, most recently at the Manayunk StrEAT Food fest this past weekend. I gotta say, the workers are always so pleasant and happy, even under crazy circumstances like the festival. They were soooooo appreciative of everyone that stopped by their cart, made sure to apologize profusely for the wait and thank everyone for supporting them. On top of that, the tots are delicious! The drunk cheese is da bomb, and at the fest I got the New Bay tots which has the cheese and Old Bay seasoning. Yum! Really, you can't go wrong

I had built up quite an appetite from shopping the Punk Rock Flea Market, so I cased the joint for something to tickle my taste buds. There was Little Baby's, but who wants ice cream in 20 degree weather?! Apparently A TON OF HIPSTERS (probably because it's sooooo "ironic").
