Ladson Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve the Ladson, SC area for everything cat and dog-related. Our animal hospital is the sister clinic to Goose Creek Veterinary Clinic, and has Dr. Virginia Brown as the owner of both practices and part-time veterinarian, and Dr. Stacey Strong as the associate veterinarian.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments that are most convenient for you. Our Client Service Representatives do what they can to accommodate all requests to the best of their ability. Emergencies are accepted any time our clinic is open.

Great experience! We found a kitten in the middle of the road and their entire team was there to support us with our late Christmas surprise. Very affordable and checked up on us afterwards to make sure our new family member was taking his meds well.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!
I usually don’t write reviews but this one was quite necessary!
Dr. Virginia Brown was, by far, the WORST doctor I’ve ever had to deal with!! Oct 4th was my first time visiting this facility with my furbaby. I was quite impressed with the front office staff & the nurses that my baby saw. We are a military family who recently returned from overseas. This was simply a - let me find a local vet in our area - as my baby had just had a required exam less than 2-months ago due to the overseas relocation.
He was only due for a heartworm tablet

Dr Strong and the team at the clinic were awesome. My kitty was diagnosed with diabetes 4 weeks before I was due to move across the country and they tried to get her regulated before I left (she just got diagnosed with pancreatitis after months of trying to figure out why she wasn’t reacting to insulin). I’m so glad for the care she received from the clinic. I’ve had great experiences with my dog there too

This is just THE best vet hospital around (and I’ve been to many, as I’m sure you have also). Last month I had to put down my 11 yr. old Morkie, Remington, because of renal failure. Most vet clinics are kind when we have to go through these sorrowful times. But I have never encountered a sweeter, kinder group of people in my long life. They are so caring and go above and beyond what you might expect. Please recommend them to your family and friends. I’m still in a lot of pain, but it surely is nice to know someone else cares and understands the extent of my grief. A heart-felt “Thank You”

My fur baby has been a patient of Dr. Strong’s for about 6 or 7 years now. She will be 18 years old in May and I have always appreciated the caring nature Dr. Strong shows her. We have followed Dr. Strong from… Moncks Corner to Ladson. I will not allow anyone one else to care for my Isabelle. Dr. Strong has been very helpful through all of the issues that come along with an elderly pup. About a year ago, Isabelle became fairly ill for a week, and I was unable to administer her medication. I was able to bring her in every morning that week for help getting her medication in her. It

Ladson Vet Hospital stepped up and helped us out when our regular vet nor the emergency clinic could see our Precious and beloved SkyWalker when he was attacked by two larger dogs in our yard today. Everyone we… worked with was amazing, kind and loving of our dog and super respectful. I would highly recommend them and look to move our dogs to their clinic for all future visits.

I had a very bad experience with this vet... My baby was having a medical emergency and I saw this vet and saw it was a “hospital” so I figured it was the place to go.
Not so much. When we got there, there were employees in the parking lot and I tried to speak with them and they were extremely rude, more concerned that I wasn’t wearing a mask 😷… even though I literally was standing in my door way and refused to answer questions at all.

We moved to Ladson a few months ago and we needed a vet closer than our normal vet. I stumbled across Ladson animal hospital. Dr. Strong and her team are incredible. Very friendly and professional. My mix puppy get nervous easy. I had to carry her into our old vets office. She is 70 lbs of pure muscle. As soon as I pulled up and informed them I was there the vet tech came out right away to get her. I didn't have to get Luna at all. She walked into the clinic with the vet tech. Right at the moment I knew this would be a good fit. Dr. Strongs methods helped ease nervous puppies.

Ladson Veterinary Hospital in Ladson is a great place to take your pet or animal in need. They are conveniently located and are caring professionals that really do care about all that pass through their doors. They do a really good job and make sure that they take their time and do everything right. They are well worth a visit if you have an animal that needs help.

My dogs are very timid around people they don’t know. Everyone at Ladson Vet took their time to get to know them and make their visit as easy going as possible. I am very particular about who I take them to due to their anxiety and I would not dream of taking them anywhere else after our experience.

My dogs have been long time patients of Dr. Strong, but we just saw her for the first time at Ladson Veterinary Hospital earlier this week. My 14 year old Sheltie who is completely blind had ripped out one of his nails and needed it removed. He also needed all of his nails trimmed and Dr. Strong even went the extra mile of clipping his foot fur and cleaning up his paws. She was very patient with him and made it a pleasant experience for us! He is now walking better than he has in a really long time and is recovering nicely!
