Salon La Moda is dedicated to service, passion, knowledge and creativity. Our salon began in 1996 when it was founded by Dana Argenio (Burgio). Our family of artist provides many specialty services. We all work together as a team to bring our own unique flair as individual stylists. We provide and create iconic trends along with a wide range of specialty services.

Hi, my name is Ally. I began my journey into the hair industry in 2013 where I became a student at The Salon Professional Academy. I performed hands on services for 2 years in their advanced program. Since then I have been working in a salon behind the chair. I am licensed in everything from hair, to skin & nails.
At Salon La Moda, we're committed to offering our customers the very best in hair salon services. Doing so means working with the best brands in the industry to make sure we have the best products available in our salon. Wont be back. If you make an appointment with someone they have no problem switching you to another stylist. One person washes, one cuts, one dries, one colors. You never know who you're going to get. They can't keep the appointment you make, switches are common. This all would be fine it was a cheap place but - its not. And like another reviewer said - they talk about other clients right in front of you. Its just not professional. Feel like they think they are doing you a favor !

I have been going to Loretta for a while now for deva cuts for my curly hair and I’ve always been so happy with the results. For years I went to other salons that didn’t know what to do with curly hair and I’d end up just getting it straightened at the end because I didn’t like how they would style my hair otherwise. The other day I went to Loretta again and I have never been so happy with a haircut in my life. My hair was long, dead and frizzy when I went in and I walked out with fresh, bouncy, smooth curls. I have the absolute worst hair... dry, curly, damaged. So it is not often I can find someone who can give me a good blowout & style. I started going to Salon La Moda a few years ago based on a recommendation from a friend. From my very first visit, I know I found my salon. They are all so incredibly friendly and helpful. Such a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I go there weekly for blowouts with Alicia and she is my hero!! My hair looks amazing!! When we are ready to color it, I just tell her do what you think. I want to say how amazing my experience was here. Everyone was so nice and professional. I believe I had Loretta H. And all I can say is PERFECT! I honestly could not ask for a better haircut from a better hairstylist. She was so sweet, very knowledgeable and paid so much attention to detail on my hair. She took her time and really put her all just to make sure my haircut was exactly how I wanted it. Loretta H. made me feel very comfortable. Anytime she dropped a comb or even a hair clip, she put it to the side and grabbed a new one. It may seem simple to other people, but I have not had an experience

Well , do not book an appointment on line. The confirmation number they give after you book means nothing! Ashley is a very rude stylist and could not comprehend I booked on line 5 weeks ago with a stylist who since has left. She continued very rudely saying , how could you book with someone who no longer works here? Hmmm....she wasn't removed from the on line booking and had open appointments, that's how. I have naturally thin, curly hair and I have struggled for years to find someone who could give me a great haircut and teach me how to style it properly. I had my hair cut by Kerianne. I wanted my ends trimmed, grown out long layers re done and something done to my grown out bangs that I want to continue to grow out.
Kerianne has a great personality and made sure I received the service I came in for and made sure I left happy!
Her scalp scrub during my hair wash was phenomenal! At any other salon I've always felt like my hair barley gets washed, but not with Kerianne! She will leave your hair feeling refreshed before she even cuts it! I appreciate her not getting water all over my forehead or in my ears!

This salon is amazing! I have never been in an atmosphere where stylists are so dedicated to pleasing their clients! The attention to detail, whether you’re a curly haired person or getting hair extensions installed, they’re amazing. The staff goes out of their way to make people happy. Went into Salon La Moda for a DevaCut. When I was going into this appointment I didn't know what to expect because I've only gotten it done once before down by New York city. When going in, Ashley greeted me and took my coat to make me feel comfortable. Cut all of my dead ends and styled my hair beautifully. Walking into the salon my hair was dry and with no texture but walking out, my hair had bouncy curls. Ashley definitely knows what she's doing. The price for the haircut was reasonable. Wave-y Ones, you NEED to come and meet the queens of curl and color- Ashely and Kristy! Ashely is skilled with the wet hair, curl by curl scissor cut we need to show off our fabulous curls. After uprooting our lives and coming to Buffalo, I was really concerned about finding a stylist to work with my fine curly hair. I go to Ashley who specializes in Deva cuts and products. She is excellent, always able to answer my questions and make product recommendations. My hair has drastically improved since I began going to her about 18 months ago. Worth every penny.

Dana is AWESOME! I was deployed with the Army down to Puerto Rico and I wanted to do something nice for my wife. She had mentioned that she had been wanting to get a haircut, but had no idea what she wanted done. Working with Dana I scheduled an appointment, sent her some photos, and sent my wife in. Long story short, Dana gave her the best… haircut she has ever had! It looked beautiful. But here is why Dana is the best. My wife could not replicate styling her hair like Dana. I was in salon "la moda" a day before 02.14.18 for ask them if they can dye my hair like it is just to white color ( I have a blond color), I needed to dye only roots about 1-2 cm. I explained that I do all the time a double process : light roots an after apply a tone like 10. Plus ulaplex.
I said if they can't do it better to tell me and do nothing at all.
I was told that a price will be 90$. And they will do it 100%.

After a very upsetting hair extension experience at another salon, I researched other possible salons in Western New York and found Salon La Moda to be highly recommended and reputable. I was in two weddings the past year that decided to have the wedding party's hair and makeup done here. Both times the salon was extremely unorganized which resulted in girls either not getting their scheduled services done or being 3 hours behind schedule. If you're a bride and don't mind being extremely late for your wedding than this is the place for you.

My regular hairstylist couldn't get me in until next weekend. I desperately wanted to get a new style ASAP after finding a haircut style I loved. I looked on YELP and this salon had great reviews, it's super close to my home, so I called to see if they could fit me in and the answer was YES!!..I was really excited!! I had an appointment with a stylist named Vin, GREAT STYLIST!! He was very personable, and I immediately felt comfortable with him. I showed him the picture of the style I wanted and within the hour he had my hair looking EXACTLY like the picture!! The salon was clean

Robert is the man! I started coming here after my fiancee was pleased after getting her hair colored. I started going to them when they were on Delaware Avenue in Tonawanda and followed them to their new place on Niagara Falls Boulevard. I booked appointments for my bridesmaids and I at Salon La Moda. The staff was wonderful! We pretty much took over the salon and they allowed us to bring in food and mimosas. We all had our hair, makeup, and lashes done. I can't thank them enough for making us all look so beautiful. All of the stylists and makeup artists were amazing! They were so awesome that one of my bridesmaids that lives in the area is switching to make this her salon!
