Care has been a licensed hair stylist since 2005 and has enjoyed every step of her career journey. She specializes in inspiring her guests to embrace a natural look which comes with less maintenance, and loves working with each individual to find the best alternative cut and color for their unique face shape and structure.
She has a masters degree in music from SUNY Fredonia and enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs Za and Xena, her boyfriend Kori, and a tub of ice cream when not behind the chair. Makayla has been a licensed hair stylist since 2018 and has worked with Care since 2019. Originally from Churchville near Rochester, NY, Makayla has been loving everything Buffalo with her cat Zelda.

Spending time in Care's chair is the best self care! Care and Makayla create a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere even for a shy introvert like me, the conversation flows easy and feels so welcoming.
They are truely talented and willing to work with you to find you just the look you're going for.

Care is literally the best hair dresser around! She truly takes the time to discuss your hair goals and magically turns them into a reality. She is incredibly knowledgeable and boy, is she fast with foils! I always look forward to getting my hair done, not only because I know I'm going to leave with the best looking hair but because she is so personable and easy to talk to. McKayla was an amazing addition (Head massages?! Yes please!) and the atmosphere is always so relaxed and welcoming. I have seen many stylists and Care is BY FAR the greatest! Highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Care and Makayla for a couple years now. I get the best color and cut I’ve ever had from Carecuts! I have thinner hair and it’s very hard to manage a cute style but Care was precise with how much hair I asked her to cut. She always makes it look full without giving me tons of layers (I personally don’t not love layers).The color is always rich and dark at the roots with a touch of beautiful ashy balayage at the bottom. Highly recommended!

Care and Makayla are a phenomenal team! I have been getting my hair cut and highlighted since returning to Buffalo. Care accommodates my low-maintenance lifestyle (I get maybe 2 cuts/color per year) but somehow my hair looks great even after 7 months!!! You will not regret going to carecuts!!!

Care is amazing and I’m picky! I get asked all the time who does my hair. I’ve been bright white blonde to bronde, cut 10 inches off, bangs and more. Every time I leave Cares I love my hair! And the salon is so cute, cozy and clean. Your relationship with your hair stylist is more than just hair and that’s exactly what you get at Carecuts! Also Makayla gives the best head massages!

Care is simply the best. She has been styling my hair for 8 years. She is truly passionate about her craft, such a professional, and a wonderful and kind person. She has Makayla by her side, who is also so fun, sweet, talented, and gives the best head massage ever. The salon is cozy and immaculately clean. Care is the best hair dresser I have ever had! I originally went to her to fix a horrible cut and color I had and I've never looked back! Every time I leave there I feel like she did exactly what I asked for and I've never been disappointed! Mikayla's head massages are also life changing! I would highly recommend going to care!

I was lucky enough to have found Care when I first moved to the area 6 years ago. She does a phenomenal job with my hair every time I see her! Always listens to any concerns I have and knows just what to do to give me some change when requested. I don’t trust anyone else to cut or color it! Makayla is just as wonderful!

Where do I start? Carecuts salon is hands down, the best out there. Price is very reasonable and the salon is always very clean and fresh. Extra precautions are in order due to Covid Restrictions which make me feel safe and at ease. Both stylists as well as customers are at all times wearing masks. There is also a divider in between chairs which allows for extra safety for both the customer and stylist.

I started going to Care in 2016 after finding her through Instagram. I had been stylist hopping for years never finding a good fit, but once I found Care I never looked back! Not only is she incredibly talented and knowledgeable about everything and anything having to do with hair, she is one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met.
