Services
The general philosophy of Northpoint Cooperative Preschool is that we all learn together - adults and children alike. Guided by two qualified, caring, and endlessly imaginative teachers, co-op parents create an environment of learning and support for all our children. Our curriculum encourages our children to learn by exploring, imagining, and experiencing.
As parents you have enrolled your child in the Cooperative Preschool Program and you have also enrolled yourself in the Bates Parent Education Program. The goal of the co-op/parent education program is to foster and support parenting and family management skills and to provide an enriching and developmentally appropriate learning experience for your child.

Northpoint Coop was my son's first experience with school at 2.5 years old. We were initially encouraged by Ms. Melissa's bright affect and eagerness, but quickly realized that we had made a mistake because of how she treated our son. But we don't quit easily, so we kept giving the school chances hoping that perhaps we were just overreacting. Our interactions with Ms. Melissa were the most hurtful experiences we have had with any school. You never imagine your child to be with a teacher who clearly disliked him, didn't even try to hide it and basically ignored him all year, including us as parents
