Services
Ziemer Law, LLC is an Evansville-based law firm representing clients throughout Vanderburgh County and the surrounding counties of Warrick County, Posey County and Gibson County; including, the municipalities of Evansville, Indiana, Newburgh, Indiana, Boonville, Indiana, Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Haubstadt, Indiana, Princeton, Indiana and others.
If you are arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), or Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), you are not alone. Despite being a common criminal charge, the punishments can still be severe. As in all other states, in Indiana, it illegal to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and any driver who has a blood alcohol content of.08% or sometimes even less can be charged with DUI, DWI, or OWI.
If your first arrest for DUI/DWI/OWI occurs in Vanderburgh county, you are likely eligible for the DADS program. If you successfully complete the DADS program, your case may be dismissed. Even if you are eligible for the DADS program, you will need DUI lawyer like Jay Ziemer who knows the DADS program and who can still help you navigate the complex Indiana law that governs your driving privileges.
In Indiana, the arresting officer will require the person arrested for DUI/OWI to take a breath, blood, or urine test to determine the blood alcohol concentration (BAC). The person arrested has no say about which of BAC tests or she will take, and has no right to consult with a DUI lawyer before taking the test.
As your criminal defense attorney, I will analyze the circumstances of your arrest for possible defects of your arrest, search, search warrant, and all other aspects of the search and seizure in order to attack the admissibility of the evidence against you. If your constitutional rights were violated, the evidence against you is deemed inadmissible in court, and your case will be dismissed.

It seems like I'm not the first person to be taken advantage of by the swindling Jay Ziemer. After paying a $1,500 retainer in July 2021, I have not been able to speak to him a single time. His receptionist, Brenda, would constantly tell me that she will have him call me, but after 16+ weeks, they won't even answer my phone calls unless I call from a different number. I encourage everyone that was scammed by this attorney to file a complaint with the Indiana Bar Association so that his license to practice law can be revoked before he can take advantage of anyone else.

Now we are going for a modification on my wife's criminal case, Jessica gives us a call on Sunday on her day off to let us know what was going on. We recommend Jay. Thanks for all the work you do Jay and Jessica.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Money was paid to retain him as a lawyer but then he stopped responding to messages. Very unprofessional. Still does not respond to this day. It's been 5 months. Jay you really need to return the money that was paid because you did nothing in return for that money. Very poor service.
