Charles "Chad" M. Love, IV graduated cum laude from Denison University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts economics and French. He then attended the West Virginia University College of Law, from which he received his Juris Doctorate in 1997. Mr. Love was a member of a prominent personal injury firm in Charleston from 1997 until 2014, when he founded The Love Law Firm.
If you are like many West Virginians with aging parents, your mother, father, or both invested some of the best years of their lives into making sure you were healthy, safe, and cared for as you grew older.

With over 14 million people in the U.S. over the age of 65, and more than 1.3 million who were in nursing care facilities in 2011, when the first Baby Boomers entered this age bracket, elder care - and elder abuse - are becoming ever more significant issues.According to a 2001 study by the House Government Reform Committee, 30% of nursing homes (5,283 facilities) were cited for nearly 9,000 cases of abuse between 1999 and 2001.
According to the American Psychological Association, more than 2 million American elders are victims of nursing home abuse every year. This abuse can take many forms, ranging from physical and emotional abuse to sexual abuse. Perhaps the most difficult to recognize, however, is emotional abuse.

If you feel that your loved ones are being emotionally abused, you need to contact the Love Law Firm immediately at (304) 344 5683 for a free consultation.Emotional abuse is defined as behaviors conducted by nursing home staff and others that, in one way or another, causes emotional pain or distress.
When loved ones move into a nursing home, receive home care, or commit to any long-term care, they put a significant amount of trust into the staff and other professionals taking care of them. Unfortunately, some people take advantage of an elder's property and/or mental state by stealing from them or inflicting substantial financial abuse.
West Virginia has one of the highest populations of elderly citizens in the US (Behind Florida and California.) One estimate puts the state's population of individuals over 65 at 25% by 2030. Many of these residents are frail elderly who can no longer live on their own. Nursing homes are for care, healing and recuperating.

My family went through a horrible experience with our insurance company. After a very bad storm, the roof on our home was damaged. We had water leaking into the interior of the house. The insurance company agreed to repair the inside but denied us on the roof. It made zero sense. The representative was extremely unprofessional and when we filed a complaint regarding the denial, he became personally vengeful and made false claims that caused the company to drop us. We had made only one small claim in twenty years- always paid on time and a loyal customer. While having a big blue tarp across our

I have tried several times to call and speak with Chad. He will not take my call, and refuses to call/ email me back. Is he THAT busy? I don’t understand? I have been put on hold for over 10 minutes until I finally gave up... terrible customer service. If that’s how he treats the initial call, makes me wonder how he would handle a court case!! If I could give a zero star I would.
