When loved ones move into a nursing home, receive home care, or commit to any long-term care, they put a significant amount of trust into the staff and other professionals taking care of them. Unfortunately, some people take advantage of an elder's property and/or mental state by stealing from them or inflicting substantial financial abuse.
West Virginia has one of the highest populations of elderly citizens in the US (Behind Florida and California.) One estimate puts the state's population of individuals over 65 at 25% by 2030. Many of these residents are frail elderly who can no longer live on their own. Nursing homes are for care, healing and recuperating.

My family went through a horrible experience with our insurance company. After a very bad storm, the roof on our home was damaged. We had water leaking into the interior of the house. The insurance company agreed to repair the inside but denied us on the roof. It made zero sense. I have tried several times to call and speak with Chad. He will not take my call, and refuses to call/ email me back. Is he THAT busy? I don’t understand? I have been put on hold for over 10 minutes until I finally gave up... terrible customer service. If that’s how he treats the initial call, makes me wonder how he would handle a court case!! If I could give a zero star I would.
