I've been planning weddings in the North Florida & South Georgia area for over 7 years. Papaya is a boutique style planning company, which affords me the opportunity to create a unique and intimate experience for each client. I received a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from Florida State University in 1998 I became interested in the bridal industry when a friend asked me to help with her wedding.
This lead me to became passionate about designing and planning weddings. Since then, I've enjoyed ensuring that all my clients have the wedding of their dreams. Amy is wonderful! As the mother-of-the bride, of course we want everything perfect. From our initial meeting until the end of the event, Amy managed us through this process with ease. She listened to what we wanted and guided us through to make the vision a reality. She is warm, professional and truly cares about making the wedding event what you want. Where do I even begin?! I cannot say enough amazing things about Amy with Papaya nor can I recommend her enough! It’s evident that she has a true passion for planning weddings and takes the time to get to know you not just on a professional level but on a personal level, as well, to ensure everything turns out just as you would hope. From recommending and coordinating everything with our vendors to decorating and setting up the day of, she truly took our dream wedding and turned it into our reality. Amy and her team are amazing - I got the full package and it was worth it. She really helped plan and bring together our wedding, which we planned from over 1,000 miles away. With the full package, I was able to text, call, and email her when needed and met with her several times either by phone, video chat, or in person (when in town) - very accommodating. She helped us find some amazing vendors that really helped pull together the wedding. Everyone kept complimenting us on how great the day was and we have Papaya to thank for creating such a wonderful day!

Long Version: For those that want details, I was looking for a wedding planner and day-of coordinator for my destination wedding at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I interviewed 3 candidates by phone and knew immediately that Amy was the best person for the job. I am a type A, detailed-oriented person and I needed someone that matched my style. Amy is definitely that. I chose her full package so that I didn't have to worry about what was included and what wasn't. I highly recommend this for those brides
